"This condo is excellent. Perfect location, very reasonable price, no hassle check-in, check-out. . Lanai is very nice with an ocean view. We were 4 adults. Condo is well equipped. I am a first time user of VRBO and first timer in Hawaii. I decided to stay in this condo by reading the reviews. Everything mentioned in reviews is correct. I would definitely stay here again during my next visit. I would also recommend my family and friends visiting Waikiki to stay here. Owner was always available via phone to answer any concerns or questions."

Thanks for the great condo room (Waikiki Park Heights #1611) for our vacation in Oahu, we enjoyed it very much. Your room is plenty big for a family of four (parents + 2 teens), well stocked and the swim goggles were great plus. I found it to be one of the best features with your place :-) Wifi worked good, fridge was big, towels you had were appreciated very much. The Korean (Mi's BBQ) and Japanese (Musubi shop) joints across the street are both reasonable ($10 to fill you) and good (just don't forget to ask for spicy sauce at Korean BBQ place) if you like down to earth Asian food. Although we didn't use it this time, your rice cooker was a nice touch - you should definitely mention it (in the Japanese part). Across from the beach is unbeatable.
Something to be aware - these aren't cons, just something to be aware. Being along the Waikiki bus route, the street sounds (sirens, bus beeping, exhaust notes of trucks) is expected for the location - a trade off with the convenience. Sight sleeper may not find this location to be super quiet. Lockbox is a bit tricky, but the security guys were very helpful as others mention - good people in the building always ready to help. I thought maybe a measuring cup would've been a good kitchen item to have, if you expect to cook with precision. They supplied a plenty of beach towels - I just wished we knew that beforehand, as we probably wouldn't have brought our own 3 towels had I known you had some for guests to use. The I probably didn't have a check-in bag which is a hustle for air travel these days. So check with Merry/Gary whether you need to bring your towels or not."

"The condo was very conveniently located, and amazingly equipped right down to the boogie boards. The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of thoughtful amenities so we didn't need to go buy things that were to be used just a couple of times. The building is well maintained and quiet, just a block and a half from Waikiki beach. The free parking is a plus with easy in and out. We will definitely stay here again!"

"This house was perfect for me, my wife, our two sons and my mother -- the third bedroom is set up, essentially, as a separate bedroom suite for added privacy. The waterfront setting was a stunning as the pictures make it seem. The living room, lania and yard provided 3 separate, beautiful large areas to enjoy for group or smaller gatherings. The helpfulness and friendliness of the caretakers definitely added to the property enjoyment. The decor is warm and charming, reflective of the age of the house and the generations of property owners. The property is well maintained and clean. The bathrooms and kitchen are dated, but are very functional and adequate for a vacation home. The beach is small and rocky; good for beachwalking. The cove isn't great for swimming but it is good for kayaking (other than at low tide). The neighborhood is quiet but there is some street noise from the busy main thoroughfare on which the property is located. There are restaurants, shopping, food stores, mountain hiking and surfing, snorkeling, and many other beaches all within a 1/2 hour drive (often less). I would recommend this property to another family or to be shared by two families with 3-4 kids."
