"We enjoyed our stay in this Condo very much, the location was great and the condo itself had everything we needed and more. The pool etc was a bonus. would stay here again."

  • This studio packs a punch!

"The pictures don't do this condo justice. The kitchen in this small studio trumps the one i come home to every night in a 4 bedroom house. It even features a dishwasher and glass cook top. My only complaint is that they made the studio so nice that I had a hard time enjoying my Hawaiian vacation. I never wanted to leave the condo."

  • Almost perfect for our stay

"We had a big hiccup to start. When we arrived we realized the door key code had never been sent to us. I thought it would be sent that morning but we were on a flight and no wifi until we arrived in the evening to check for it. We were unable to contact the owner and after several hours trying to figure out what to do just got a hotel room for the night. Benson got a hold of us early the next day, very apologetic, and gave us the key code and paid for our hotel room. The condo is exactly as pictured. The futon on the patio was used a lot. Great way to have your morning coffee and watch the surfers. It's a side view to the ocean, not ocean front but you can see boats and surfers, swimmers etc. My daughters enjoyed watching the luau at night from the lanai. I loved this area of Waikiki better than the main section. Friends of ours were staying in the main area of Waikiki and it wasn't for me. The beach is right beside the lagoon. You can enjoy many of the Hilton activities for free and honestly even most of their pools are all open and you can just go in. Live music from the different restaurants. Free cookie samples from the Honolulu cookie company at the Hilton shops. There is a DQ right on the beach. If you walk down the beach a little you can get cheaper rentals of paddle boards, water bikes etc. The Hilton is expensive. We signed up for Groupon Honolulu before we went and got some great deals on activities. Previous condo stayers had left some beach things to use so check the lanai to see what is there before you purchase. I loved the spices that were available too. Beds and pillows were comfortable and I am picky with my pillows. A couple cons: There is no place to store your luggage after check out if your flight is later than check out. The bell people are for the hotel only. Although they did help us a couple times, they wanted $10 tips to do so. There is no cart to load your own luggage on to bring up to the room. There is limited storage in the condo. Benson I would suggest a chest of drawers where you have that wall table and stools. There are already stools around the counter and a desk so I think you could take that out and put a chest of drawers there. It was hard living out of suitcases for 11 days. The bake feature on the oven didn't work. We made do with broil and stove top. We spent our last night at the Hilton and missed the Ilikai. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it!"

  • Great Little Place in Downtown Waikiki

"Hubby and I stayed here in April 2015 for about 5 nights prior to our stop in Kauai. The owner was great to deal with and reservation process was seamless. The condo is perfect for 2 people. I don't think I would have 2 or more kids here in addition to 2 adults, but then again I don't have kids! The location is central to all things Waikiki, and if you want to go somewhere else such as Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, Punch Bowl, Haunama Bay, you can take the Bus or your rental car. This unit has an included parking spot which is great. Don't forget to figure parking in your stay in Waikiki..that can add 50-70 dollars a day to your hotel rate! Terry's place is very clean and has great decor that makes you feel at home. Bed is comfy and so are the king size pillows. The washer dryer came in handy the one time we used it. Of note, there are plenty of paper towls, TP, washer soap, bar soap, spices, plastic wrap, etc. This is an awesome feature and most VRBO places we stay at give you 2 rolls of TP and a roll of paper towels and you have to buy the rest. Terry's set up saves you a lot of hassle and time shopping for this kind of stuff. Saves you money! In general we had breakfast in the condo each day which was a big time and money saver. But you can walk right out the door and have breakfast out too if you prefer! The unit itself is on a lower floor over looking the park/palm trees. I liked this since it seems all you can get in Waikiki are high rises and I am afraid of heights, so a lainai on the 20th floor would rarely get visited by me! However in this unit we were out there every AM and afternoon. I felt like I was in a nice tropical garden with all the trees and flowers. I would rcommend this property if you want to stay in downtown Waikiki. Convenient, clean, price is right, owner and property manager are great to deal with."
