  • "Dream" Condo

"My review is a little different than most; so before I start I will confirm what others have already written – Roger Lane is a very gracious and accommodating host. His condo is exactly like the pictures – only better; as I will explain. There I was, sitting in Rogers’ condo the first morning of our stay there. The windows are slid open the whole width of the unit, letting the warm trade winds softly flow thru-out the room – it’s still dark outside. I’m up early because of the time change. With Kona coffee in hand; I’m curled up on the long bench window seat; watching my beautiful Diamond Head sleep. The stars are still out and the only sound I hear are the waves flowing into shore just off to my right. I sit quietly and watch as the sun slowly awakens my Diamond Head. An overwhelming sense of peace flows over me. The magic of this island, this condo, this view is so healing for my soul. That is why I say it is so much more than the pictures. Thank-you Roger for sharing your little piece of paradise."

  • About As Good As It Can Be

"Recently we stayed for a month in Honolulu - a combination of business and vacation. A friend suggested Roger's beautiful apartment in the Colony Surf because of its location on the water. Our expectations were exceeded. Not only is it right smack dab on the ocean, but the Colony Surf has its very own private beach just below. The giant window opens up for a panoramic view of the Pacific that goes on forever. And did I mention the sunsets? On the main floor of the building is a famous restaurant, Michel's. Just down the block is another wonderful place with a terrific breakfast menu, the Kaimana Beach Hotel. Waikiki is a short walk, and Kapoliani Park is literally across the street. Parking is difficult in Honolulu but this place has its own designated parking place in the building. nice. It's decorated with beautiful things, and the kitchen and bathroom are completely upgraded. We didn't want to leave. Comfortable, breezy and perfect."

  • What a view!

"This condo rental is an oversized studio, very spacious and thoughtfully furnished and decorated. There is plenty of comfortable furniture, but the place is still spacious and uncluttered. There are windows spanning an entire wall of this unit, providing a stunning view of the beautiful blue and turquoise ocean, gorgeous sunsets, the Waikiki skyline, occasional firework displays, passing ships, surfers, long-distance swimmers and canoe paddlers. We spent a lot of time on the window seat of this unit, just watching the scenery. That said, the window is so vast, I would not recommend a small child for this rental. Since it is a corner unit, it is very private and quiet. Unlike most units in the building, people cannot pass in front of kitchen and bathroom windows. Because the unit is on the 18th floor and spans the depth of the building, ventilation is excellent. At times, we almost completely closed the windows. The unit is very well appointed. I cooked a lot while staying there and found most everything I needed in the kitchen. The king bed is very comfortable. Water pressure in the shower is excellent. The washer/dryer functioned well. The management is very responsive, receptive to suggestions and quick to solve any problems. Colony Surf is a wonderful building and immaculately maintained. It is in a prime location, across the street from Kapiolani Park and a short walk to Waikiki. The beach behind the building is lovely and swimming is sweet there. It abuts the Outrigger Canoe Club, so there are always canoes coming and going which is fun to watch. Kaimana Beach is on the other side, and it is also a beautiful place to relax. Really, the location can't be matched. The bus runs right out front, and if you have a car, the parking space is very convenient. I recommend this rental without reservation. It surpassed my expectations."

  • Amazing beachfront retreat

"My fiancee and I stayed in this unit for the month of May and we loved it. Everything was as promised or better. The entire big blue Pacific is right out your window and the unit is clean and stocked with everything you'll need except yourself, your bathing suits, and food. We'll be back for sure."

Colony Surf Travel Tips

Experience the Holiday of a Lifetime with Colony Surf Beach Rentals

Hawaii has long been recognized as one of the most idyllic and beautiful vacation spots in the world. The epitome of elegant luxury and relaxation, Hawaii is filled with beauty spots in which to enjoy your holiday. However, none stand out like the area of Oahu, and here it is Colony Surf condo rentals that offer one of the best holiday experiences money can buy.

Choosing an Area of Oahu to Stay in

Of course, one of the most important parts of enjoying your holiday is selecting which of the Colony Surf condo rentals is best for your family. Northern Oahu is remote, but is well known for its surfing during the winter. Alternatively, if your family is a little less adventurous, you may want to think about securing one of the Colony Surf beach rentals in Southern Oahu. This is really the epicenter for tourists and boasts excellent dining and shopping experiences. Eastern Oahu can also be a good choice if you are looking to secure one of the Colony Surf beach condos that has mountain ridge views and nice beaches.

Explore the Island - You Will Never be Bored!

Colony Surf beach rentals are a great place to set up a base in Hawaii, but there are plenty of attractions to visit and see. One of the most spectacular is the Valley of the Temples, a collection of Buddhist temples set deep in the mountains. Alternatively, if you enjoy being in the water then why not head over to Sharks Cove for some snorkeling? This can be a great experience in the summer months, although it can get busy. Whatever you choose, your holiday in one of the Oahu vacation rentals is bound to provide precious memories for you and your family for years to come.
