"We had an amazing time, Ramona was great, very helpful and gave us great tips, the condo lobby was the perfect place to view the outstanding 4th of July fireworks. They say its location location location and this is true, the Ilikai is that location, the view from the condo was beautiful. The view of the Hilton`s show stage from the balcony was an added plus. When booking tours the Ilikai is great because we found we were one of the first hotels to get picked up so we could have our choice of seating and one of the first to get dropped off. In addition to fun in the sun and the aloha spirit I also had the best massage in the spa downstairs. Ala Moana Mall and beach park are an easy short walk. This was the first time I`ve rented a condo and Ramona made it an easy process, thank you for everything, Aloha, can`t wait to return"

"The unit was spacious and clean. We made breakfast on some mornings and ate on the balcony to enjoy the view of the marina. Robert, the owner was friendly and very responsive throughout the booking process and answered any questions we had about the unit. My husband, 3 yr old daughter and I enjoyed the lagoon, which is a few mins walk from the condo. Overall, we loved our stay and wish we could be there longer. We would definitely stay here again when in Honolulu!"

"My husband and I stayed here with our two young kids and we loved it! My 3 year old loved sleeping on the sofa, and we rented a crib from Paradise Baby for our little one (highly recommend this option for renting baby gear).
This condo has a stunning view, and comfy chairs on the lanai for enjoying your morning coffee or late night cocktails. The condo is clean and well taken care of and it has everything you need! Dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, rice-cooker, beach chairs, beach towels, comfy king-sized bed, DVD player (bring your own DVDs), a desk, a dresser, etc. Bring your own condiments, spices, cooking oil etc, as there is only salt and pepper supplied.
It was a bit of a hassle not having a bath tub for the kids, but they did ok in the shower, and that was the only thing I would change so I can't complain!
Great location...the Lagoon was the perfect place for the little ones, as there are no harsh waves or currents. Lots of nearby restaurants and Ala Moana mall is about 15 minute walk or a quick bus ride.
We made ourselves at home for a week and were sad to leave...we had a great trip! Thanks Jeng!"

"Donald and Lisa have a wonderful little condo on the edge of Waikiki that proved to be one of our favorite places during a three-week trip to Hawaii. The view over the harbor is beautiful, especially at sunset. The kitchen is vintage - charming push-button electric range - but everything works, is clean and supplied with all the basics. Our boys loved having cable TV and the AC was nice when we would come back to a warm condo late in the afternoon...we learned to pull the blinds closed while gone to keep it from getting so warm. The only quibble would be the arrangements for our two boys, which were two somewhat thin perhaps foam mattresses. We instead had one buy sleep on both mattresses stacked, and the other fit nicely on the couch. No problem. The Ilikai hotel/condos building is well kept and fun to learn how central it was to Waikiki's past, being the hotel that Jack Lord stood atop for the opening of Hawaii 5-0. Nice to have the trappings of a hotel along with the convenience of a full kitchen, not to mention the bonus of beach toys, towels and a boogie board. The bedroom is just a sliding wall that closes off from the living room; the place is definitely cozy for a family of four but worked fine for us with our two boys 14 and under. Not sure I'd try it with much older (bigger) kids. Donald's notes helped us find the parking behind in a lot that had plenty of available spots next to the marina. It's an easy walk to the hotel, seems safe, and was less hassle than the valet. It's also less expensive at a straight $1/hr, tho the trick is knowing how long your car will be stationary as you buy the time ahead. You can come back to add more time, up to 24 hours in one spot. All-in-all, definitely earns 5 stars, as did Donald and Lisa in their communication. Thanks!"
