  • Fabulous view

"We stayed at the Ilikai Marina condo for 4 nights with our 11 month old. We purposely picked this location because we wanted easy access to Ala Moana shopping centre and it certainly was close! It was also a short walk to Hilton Hawaiian Village where there were shops and restaurants. The view was breathtaking, and the condo was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the presence of the sliding door meant that we could carry on with our activities after the baby went to sleep. The only thing I can complain about (to no fault of the owner) was that one of the two lifts were out of service for the time we were there. At times it was a long wait... We were relatively lucky as we were in the higher floors, as the relatively small lift filled up quickly, and when it stopped on multiple floors going down, we could see other guests unable to enter the lift (esp people with suitcases and prams)... Would stay here again. Clear instructions were given by the owner on how to locate the condo."

  • Great place to stay in Waikiki

"This was my first VRBO experience. Overall, there is no comparison between this unit and a similarly (or more expensive) hotel. This property is better located, bigger, and has a better view. I won't spend too much time selling the place, as I think it is well described here. Although the view is obstructed from some taller buildings (as pictured), it is a "front view"; that is to say, you can see it from the entire unit, and not just the lanai. At least in June, the sun hits the lanai most of the day, so it was a little to warm to enjoy. Everything felt very clean when we checked in, though the unit/furniture are a little on the quiet side. My only real complaint: there is a whole lot of furniture in the place-- between the table for 4, the two bar stools, and a chair, there was pretty much no floor space when the couch bed is out. We were okay with our two small kids, but 4 adults might find the place a little cramped."

  • An awesome first-time visit to Waikiki!

"We stayed here after searching many other properties and found this place to be reasonably priced for the prime location. The place was great, felt like a home away from home and VERY kid-friendly. The people are super nice and it was great that amenities are within walking distance. There is a laundry room on each floor which we found quite helpful having kids. I loved how our lanai looked over the buildings' pool and playground, with a little peak of the Diamond Head in the background. The secured parking garage is also an added bonus! The floor, however, could have received a good mopping before we got there, but not really that big a deal. Overall, no real complaints about this place! Owner is very prompt with questions and inquiries. Would highly recommend and we will be staying here again in the future! Mahalo for the wonderful stay :)"

  • Dreams Do Come True

"The previous reviews and pictures say it all. It is everything as described. Anna and her assistant Lily truly made us feel welcome and were very helpful whenever we required their assistance during the trip which was limited to advice on what to see and do as everything else was taken care of and there were no issues with the condo. This was our first time to Hawaii and dream come true for a group of five adults. Of course there are not three bedrooms but the futon and pullout are very spacious and have upgraded mattresses so were very comfortable. This is a great location on Waikiki as it is within close walking distance ot the beach area infront of the Hilton complex or across the bridge to hte quieter Ala Moana Beach Park. Even walking around in the late evening we never felt unsecure around this neighborhood. The mall is in close walking distance as well as many small stores etc for ammenities. We had a rental car so the parking spot was a great bonus. If you did not want ot spend the extra on a car "The Bus" is a great mode of transportation locally in Wakiki as well as throughout the island. Having the beach chairs, mats, cooler, snorkel gear etc available in the condo made travelling to the beach easy without added expenses to our trip. As mentioned in previous reviews the tradewinds are great and much of the limited time we spent in the condo, was spent on the lanai having coffee or a cocktail either watching surfers in the distance, planes, ships and yatchs coming and going or the odd whale breaching in the open ocean. We did bring a set of binoculars that proved valuable both on the lanai for gazing over the ocean and during our exploratory travels around the island. Anna I am truly happy our timing worked out for you and that we got to meet you. You really made us feel welcome and you certainly helped make our dreams of a Hawaii vacation come true. Thank You."
