"Miou, the property manager, was so personable and accommodating. She helped us book our place the night before, and made everything so easy. We stayed for 8 nights in October, and this property was perfect for a couple. The locations is fantastic, right at the end of the strip, across from the zoo and a 2-minute walk to the pier/beach. There is a bus stop right up front, and another around the corner with easy access anywhere you need. There is an app that can be downloaded for bus schedules. To explore the island, the best way to do it is on mopeds! There is a rental place a block away, and they are very affordable and easy to ride.
The unit has everything you need to cook,if needed, even a BBQ area downstairs, and boards you can borrow for the beach. There is a Safeway about 1.5miles up the road, where groceries are better priced than the markets in the tourist area. You can Uber it for about $6. If you decide to walk it though, you will walk past Rainbow's and Ono Hawaiian Foods - 2 local restaurants with great, local food! Once you eat all of that and start feeling bad, you can take the running trail right outside the property, to the left towards Diamond Head. Great hill to run, with splendid views of the beach. Do it before 8 a.m. to avoid crowds and heat.
Leaving to go home was the only unpleasant factor about our vacation! We will be back!"

"This pad suited our needs, there were 4 of us, 2 adults, 2 kids, it would have been a little cramped if we had 6 people staying.
It's exactly as advertised and is in close proximity to the beach and the main strip and a 2min walk from the buses.
The pool and tennis courts were great and the koko resorts had boogie boards and tennis rackets available.
The air-con and fridge were a little noisy, but then so were the fire-engines and buses, if we were used to living in a city, we probably wouldn't have noticed.
My only complaint (fairly minor too), is that the lighting wasn't very good. Several of the light stands didn't work (maybe just a blown bulb), and the light shades in the kitchen are about an inch too low, I kept hitting my head on them and the corners are sharp."

"We stayed there for 8 nights during our two weeks in Hawaii. The unit is clean and well maintained. We booked this unit last minute (on the day that we checked in) as there was a change of plan and the owner was very helpful and accommodating. Everything was as described. The lighting in the room is a bit dimmed but I'm sure the owner will handle this once he gets the feedback. As a former HI resident, Hawaii is like our 2nd home. It's our 2nd time staying in Waikiki Banyan and we would love to be back again."

"The unit was superbly maintained. Very close to everything in Waikiki - Sheraton, Trump Towers, public beaches and high end stores. Has everything we needed for our 11 day stay - from coffee maker, rice cooker, washer/dryer, gas stove...name it this condo has it!
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful place. We will think of you again when we go back to Honolulu."
