  • Absolutely amazing rental!

"Absolutely amazing rental. We had a wonderful time. I cant say enough about our stay. Perfect location. Super close to Waikiki, but also easy to access the highway if you want to get out of town. View from the lanai is spectacular. Owner was extremely accomodating. It was clear that having an amzing and comfortable experience was her number one priority. Thank you again so much for a wonderful stay, I'd love to comeback again someday."

  • Fantastic location, unbelievable view, lovely room

"We loved staying here! This condo is located in a fantastic area of Waikiki, just half a block to the beautiful beach, mere steps away from not one but two ABC stores, and a 15-second walk away from one of our favourite restaurants, Lulu's, as well as many others. The view from this place was just amazing - even better than in the photos here. We woke up to the sounds of birds and zoo animals and opened the curtains to a 180-degree view of Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean. It's hard to want to leave the balcony! The room itself is very well equipped and a great size for a one or two week stay. The bed is very comfy and there are lots of great touches to improve your stay, such as beach chairs, coolers and beach towels to borrow. There is a microwave, coffee machine and hot plate as well as fridge/freezer - it's not a place for cooking big meals, but ideal for rustling up some snacks. I would say the room is larger than it appears on the photos too. Cosy but definitely comfortable for two people on vacation, with lots of storage space for clothes and shoes. You can fit luggage under the bed also. Everything was clean - the shower is a little tricky to get the water to be a consistent temperature, but this was no big deal for us. The air conditioning was perfect and easy to use, with a 'quiet' mode when you're sleeping. There is also a fantastic sun deck on the 10th floor with an even bigger view of Diamond Head and the beach. A perfect place to enjoy a few drinks in the sun. The hotel is also home to a great burger place and Hula's, a fun and gay-friendly bar. You can sometimes hear the music from the bar at night and in the afternoon when you're out on the balcony, but not when the balcony doors are closed. We enjoyed listening to the music, but just be aware if you prefer a very quiet place that there is also a little bit of noise from the road outside. It's not an especially busy road but there are buses and trucks that occasionally go by. You're on the 6th floor so it's not that bad. The hotel desk (the hotel management company is a separate was kind enough to look after our bags while we waited for our late flight, and the staff seemed very friendly. Bill and Charles, who own the condo, gave excellent customer service at all stages of the process. All in all a fantastic place to stay, in a perfect location."

  • Diamond head retreat

"Thanks again for a second wonderful stay. A comfortable alternative to a hotel home in the surroundings of a personally decorated home."

  • A great holiday ~ Close to everything

"We stayed in the Sunset Condo at the Fairway Villa for two weeks in November-December. We chose it via the internet as it had good reviews and we were not disappointed. The studio was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. It had a full kitchen with a large fridge, oven and stove top. The kitchen also had a blender, brewed coffee facilities, and even a rice cooker. The laundry was well stocked with its own washer, dryer bath & beach towels and cleaning facilities. The condo had Wi-Fi, Netflix movies, Pandora radio and more. On the balcony, we found beach chairs, a sun shade and other beach/swimming equipment. The balcony was a great place to have morning coffee or relax at sunset and watch some of the fireworks on a Friday night or the mountain lights in the evening. The view of the misty mountains, golf course and river were lovely in the day time. The 360 degree views from the roof top, pool and BBQ area helped us get our bearings when we first arrived. The third person slept in the fold out couch right next to the main bed. We packed up the bed each morning to allow more room to walk around the studio. Both beds were very comfortable for sleeping well at night. When we arrived we received a message from the owners, Marie and Stan, making sure that we had everything we needed. They were most welcoming and gave us some great advice on what we could do while we were in Oahu. They also left very useful books and information in the condo so we could plan our time in Oahu, Hawaii. We hired a car for three days and enjoyed the free overnight parking with the condo as this can cost approx $25-$35 US per day in Waikiki. The friendly security staff greeted us each day as we would leave and return to the building We all loved the location of the Fairway Villa. We found it a short walk to the bus stop, beach and shops but also far enough away from the hustle & bustle as we were able to sleep with the windows open with very little disturbance from the streets. The building was across the street from The Food Pantry which we shopped for convenience, although there were cheaper places to shop for groceries that were not far away, we did not try them. My husband and I would recommend staying here for either a long or short term stay."
