I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was spotless.
The property manager was very helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
This was a fabulous place to stay. It had everything we could need, including parking, which for us was important as we saw lots of the island.
Manager responded on 4/8/2015:
Mahalo for the positive comments and recommendation! We work hard to offer great accommodations and service, and we're so glad your stay was enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit!"

"Hubby and I stayed here in April 2015 for about 5 nights prior to our stop in Kauai. The owner was great to deal with and reservation process was seamless. The condo is perfect for 2 people. I don't think I would have 2 or more kids here in addition to 2 adults, but then again I don't have kids! The location is central to all things Waikiki, and if you want to go somewhere else such as Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, Punch Bowl, Haunama Bay, you can take the Bus or your rental car. This unit has an included parking spot which is great. Don't forget to figure parking in your stay in Waikiki..that can add 50-70 dollars a day to your hotel rate!
Terry's place is very clean and has great decor that makes you feel at home. Bed is comfy and so are the king size pillows. The washer dryer came in handy the one time we used it. Of note, there are plenty of paper towls, TP, washer soap, bar soap, spices, plastic wrap, etc. This is an awesome feature and most VRBO places we stay at give you 2 rolls of TP and a roll of paper towels and you have to buy the rest. Terry's set up saves you a lot of hassle and time shopping for this kind of stuff. Saves you money! In general we had breakfast in the condo each day which was a big time and money saver. But you can walk right out the door and have breakfast out too if you prefer!
The unit itself is on a lower floor over looking the park/palm trees. I liked this since it seems all you can get in Waikiki are high rises and I am afraid of heights, so a lainai on the 20th floor would rarely get visited by me! However in this unit we were out there every AM and afternoon. I felt like I was in a nice tropical garden with all the trees and flowers.
I would rcommend this property if you want to stay in downtown Waikiki. Convenient, clean, price is right, owner and property manager are great to deal with."

"We loved staying in this unit. One of the best things is the balcony that overlooks Ft Derussy Park. It's a very nice space with enjoyable views both looking towards the beach and away. Not a panoramic view of the ocean but a pleasant view of the park and of the various people strolling through it from a reasonably high perch. I don't understand it but the people in the property next door (Outrigger Reef) are paying more than double to look directly at another building (the door side of the Waikiki Shore). My wife and I had breakfast out there every morning (croissants, etc). There's a Starbuck's right next door but there also was a coffee maker in the unit that we mostly used. We also had several other snacks/lunches on the balcony which has a nice table and chair set.
The property is unique in at least two ways. 1. It is the only condo building on the beach and 2., there are no interior hallways. The doors are on one side of the building and the balcony is on the other. This allows for great flow-through ventilation. There was a euro-style A/C unit but we never turned it on. Pretty much the whole unit has been updated to current standards. The bed is a pillow-top and proved to be excellent (better than ours in fact). The unit contains enough dishes, glasses and some spices plus plenty of towels so that we didn't need anything in that category.
Besides being on the beach, the location is great for restaurants and other stores. The largest ABC store I have ever been to (and I've been to many) is located about a block away and even has prepared food items including a salad bar. I see where another reviewer called this the "perfect location" and I would agree totally. My one suggestion would be to replace the beach chairs that are in the unit (although I would come back again regardless)."

"This was wonderful studio that met all of our needs. We started every morning with breakfast on the lanai overlooking the ocean and watched beautiful sunsets & Friday night fireworks from the same spot. We got around the city easily on the Waikiki Trolley. All other tour buses to the luau, Pearl Harbor, & Circle Island Tour picked us up within one block. There are hundreds of stores & restaurants within a 15 min walk. The ABC store on Lewers St was our favorite. The very best part was the big beautiful ocean right outside the back door."
