"I recommend to stay here. I stayed for just over two months. Everything you need: great location, safe, comfortable, good bldg amenities with friendly staff - and for a great price. Owner is easy to communicate with and accommodating. Enjoy!"

  • Home Away From Home in Paradise

"I would like to express my gratitude to Marie Satz of Alohafamilyproperty for providing us with such a wonderful and well maintained property in Waikiki to vacation in. The communications we received from Marie prior to our visit were professional and friendly. When you book over the Internet you can never be quite sure of what you will get but all the information Marie provided was accurate and honest. It was great to deal with the actual owners and not just a management company. Marie even contacted us (from overseas) after our arrival to make sure everything was okay and if there was anything we needed. Marie's condo In Fairway Villa is in a great location right in the heart of Waikiki only about two blocks from the beach and close to bus and trolley stops but far enough back from the noise of the passing throngs of tourists. From the moment we walked into the foyer of the Fairway Villa complex we felt happy. The security guards at the front door, who observe security cameras of the building 24/7, were friendly and they gave us a sense of safety throughout our entire stay. Upon our arrival we saw flowers decorating the door and basket of goodies with a welcome note was on the dining table. The condo was immaculate with attractive tropical themed decor. It was spotlessly clean and the cleaning lady should be congratulated on her amazing job. My husband almost walked into the glass door when we first arrived as it was so clear ... he wants to know her secret. The apartment has wonderful views from the lanai of the mountains, golf course, Diamond Head and glimpses of the beach. The rooftop pool, sauna and barbecues are an added bonus. Although we didn't use it, there is also undercover parking provided at no extra cost. The facilities in the condo are excellent, above and beyond our expectations, a home away from home with everything provided. It was great to have a washing machine and dryer, free access to the Internet, television and movie choices. There were towels, linen, stationery supplies, first aid and sewing equipment, beach chairs and boogie boards just to name a few. There is a small but fully equipped adequate kitchen With cooking utensils and dishes, crockery and cutlery. I highly recommend this property. Fantastic."

  • Great stay

"Myself and our 5yr old daughter had a fantastic time in Honolulu and did enjoy staying this Ilikai unit which has a beautiful view. Although it's an older building the owner kept it very nice and clean. We didn't bring our beach towels assuming they would be provided but they weren't so we bought a few...and the towels and linens from the room couldn't be exchanged with clean ones for free which was a little odd but we were just two of us and did have enough sets for us so it wasn't a big problem. Wifi in the room is not very reliable which was a little frustrating but public wifi always worked fine. It's a very adults oriented condo however pool staffs were very friendly and accommodating to everyone. Communication from owner was great, no issues at all. After all we did get a great deal since it's much less than some other newly renovated units which was fine by us since it served it's purpose for us perfectly. Mahalo!!"

  • Excellent Condo

"This condo was great. Clean and tidy, well stocked. A great location. 10 minutes to Ala Moana and easy walking distance to the ward centre and waikiki. Pool was great but the beach is close as well. There were plenty of instructions and Lisa promptly answered any questions. I felt the hosts went out of their way to make my holiday very enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone staying in Waikiki. I hope to be back myself and am happy I have found a great place to stay. I also found it very quiet."

Things to Do in Waikiki

Diamond Head: As one of Hawaii’s most well-known landmarks, Diamond Head is a volcanic tuft cone with an exciting hiking trail, amazing coastal views and military history. The crater was formed more than 300,000 years ago during an explosive volcanic eruption. The trail was built in 1908 as part of a coastal defense system, and on the summit itself you'll see military bunkers. The top of the hike also provides a postcard-like view of the shoreline.

Waikiki Beach: Waikiki Beach is one of the most famous in the world. You won’t want to miss out on the two-mile stretch of white sandy shores meeting stunning, warm waters. Waikiki Beach is the perfect spot to stretch out that towel and relax in the warm sun with a good book or take to the water for adventures with boogie boards, surfing and swimming. It’s also a great place to try out a catamaran or outrigger canoe ride.

Society of Seven (SoS): For some top-notch Hawaiian entertainment, look no further than the Society of Seven. This group has been headlining shows at the Outrigger Main Showroom since 1969 and still wows crowds to this day. The Hawaiian band puts everything they have into each show, displaying their talent and energy every time they take the stage. Each performance is full of singing, dancing and comedy skits, showing off their hilarious personalities. SoS has released many albums and also has a regular show in Las Vegas. The SoS show in Waikiki is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

Pearl Harbor: There are a variety of exhibits, memorials, displays and museums within the ground of Pearl Harbor to honor those lost in the attacks and those who served during the second World War.

USS Arizona Memorial: Part of Pearl Harbor is the USS Arizona Memorial. This spot marks the resting place of more than 1,000 sailors and Marines killed during the attack during WWII. The memorial was built in 1962 and is certainly a historic and moving place to visit. The remains of the the battleship were declared a National Historic landmark in 1989.
