  • Island Lover

"This is my 7th stay at this unit. I usually come alone, but this year my husband joined me. We stayed here on our way to Maui. My husband used the exercise room every day and loved the convenience of having it on the roof top. I just love this condo, the location is so perfect, and the security is fantastic. Every year I feel like it's my home away from home in Waikiki! I would not hesitate to recommend this condo to my friends, and am sure I'll return again next year for Aloha Festival Week. Leonore, I'm sorry that you didn't get to meet my husband."

  • Fantastic location, unbelievable view, lovely room

"We loved staying here! This condo is located in a fantastic area of Waikiki, just half a block to the beautiful beach, mere steps away from not one but two ABC stores, and a 15-second walk away from one of our favourite restaurants, Lulu's, as well as many others. The view from this place was just amazing - even better than in the photos here. We woke up to the sounds of birds and zoo animals and opened the curtains to a 180-degree view of Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean. It's hard to want to leave the balcony! The room itself is very well equipped and a great size for a one or two week stay. The bed is very comfy and there are lots of great touches to improve your stay, such as beach chairs, coolers and beach towels to borrow. There is a microwave, coffee machine and hot plate as well as fridge/freezer - it's not a place for cooking big meals, but ideal for rustling up some snacks. I would say the room is larger than it appears on the photos too. Cosy but definitely comfortable for two people on vacation, with lots of storage space for clothes and shoes. You can fit luggage under the bed also. Everything was clean - the shower is a little tricky to get the water to be a consistent temperature, but this was no big deal for us. The air conditioning was perfect and easy to use, with a 'quiet' mode when you're sleeping. There is also a fantastic sun deck on the 10th floor with an even bigger view of Diamond Head and the beach. A perfect place to enjoy a few drinks in the sun. The hotel is also home to a great burger place and Hula's, a fun and gay-friendly bar. You can sometimes hear the music from the bar at night and in the afternoon when you're out on the balcony, but not when the balcony doors are closed. We enjoyed listening to the music, but just be aware if you prefer a very quiet place that there is also a little bit of noise from the road outside. It's not an especially busy road but there are buses and trucks that occasionally go by. You're on the 6th floor so it's not that bad. The hotel desk (the hotel management company is a separate was kind enough to look after our bags while we waited for our late flight, and the staff seemed very friendly. Bill and Charles, who own the condo, gave excellent customer service at all stages of the process. All in all a fantastic place to stay, in a perfect location."

  • Wonderful Place to Stay

"My boyfriend and I stayed at Jean's condo for the first two days of our vacation, and it was really wonderful. It is right on the beach with a beautiful view of the water. It is within walking distance of most everything in downtown Waikiki so it's perfect for exploring the area. There were a few added touches in the room, like beach chairs and a cooler, that we really appreciated and enjoyed. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return. I would recommend anyone who is going to spend some time in Waikiki to stay there as well."
