  • 10 star vacation!

"The Beach Villas at Ko Ollina Resorts are fantastic. I stayed in a villa on the 10th floor. It was stunning to say the least. The pictures do not do this place justice. Every single thing from the online booking with Daniel to the check out was fast easy and without any worries. The property is wonderfully landscaped. The employees of the villas are all very kind and greet you every day with a smile. The pools are clean and well maintained. The location is also fantastic. It's a quick 15 mins to Wakiki if you time it right. The front desk clerk gave us a great time - leave around 930 am and make your way back by 2:30 and you'll avoid rush hour traffic. Great advice! The villa itself is well equiped with high end appliances. They have everything you need to get started. It is very clean and the beds are supper confortable. The Costco and Target is a mere 5 minute drive away. It was our first time to the island. We are already looking at going again next year and will definitely book with Daniel on the 10th floor. Great customer service and make our vacation one we will truly never forget."

  • Great get-away!

"The condo we rented at the Hawaiian Princess was PERFECT! We knew from the description that the building was beachfront, but didn't realize just how close it is to th e ocean! We could see green sea turtles in the surf from our lanai! We were told that there is great whale-watching in the winter and early spring so we are already planning a return trip. I can't wait to relax on the beach again! The condo itself was very clean and well-equipped. You guys thought of everything! We have stayed at many other condos and always found ourselves looking for cooking utensils or other basic items during our stay. Not so with your unit. Our son loves snorkeling and having all the gear right there made it so easy. The comfy king bed also made my husband very happy. I even let him have it to himself one night while I fell asleep on the lanai to the sound of the surf. The neighbors, staff, and other people we met were so friendly and helpful. We found some neat little places to eat and the grocery store was stocked with lots of local delicacies. We have stayed in Waikiki before but now we are IN LOVE with the "country" side of the island. The pace is so relaxed and there's no need to go anywhere else. When we called our friends on the north shore they kept complaining about the cloudy, rainy conditions. We had nothing but sun in our little piece of paradise. I wasn't even sure if I should write such a glowing review because I don't want too many people to know about our little "secret" Hawaiian hideaway! If things go well for us, we might even buy one of the lovely units at the Princess. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy a great vacation and showing us so much "aloha." You made it so easy for us and we will be back soon!"

  • The Perfect Base Camp over Canada/USA July holidays

"Away from the crowds of Waikiki and with easy access to other parts of the island this condo was the perfect 'base-camp' for all our activities. We are adventure seekers that love to explore & hike. But after a long day out traveling about, it's great to come back and cook our own meals and enjoy a quiet beach with only a few friendly locals for company. Everyday at sunrise from the balcony, we watched a family of turtles swim in the surf. Everyday hours before sunset we stayed in the ocean waiting for the green flash then headed to the pool for a final dip. Snorkeling is best along the left side where the turtles live. Waves pickup a little in the afternoon, but not as bad as some other places on the island. Plenty of snorkeling and beach gear in the condo - but we brought our own. There are a couple of boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, games, table-tennis, tennis rackets, and a ukulele! Kitchen is well stocked and very functional. The unit is smaller than what we are used to, but is perfect for a couple. The balcony is roomy and we had our meals there 50% of the time. Some construction was going on during our stay, so we just took off to relax at the beach downstairs. It also gets a little hot in the later afternoon (5-6:30) with the sun shining in on the condo. We used the AC when we first got there, but we soon acclimatized and only needed to have ocean breeze to keep us cool and content! Ko Olinda is about 20 minutes way (so is Costcos). It's nice to spend a day at the Ko Olinda Lagoons. You can go to the different hotels and get pampered during the day (along with the crowds) and then head back to the Condo for an evening swim. Travel to the Dole Plantation and North Point is also good, since you don't have to worry about driving in Waikiki traffic. Some good golf in the area, too (but we didn't go - as the beach outside the condo was too inviting each day!) FYI - You need a car. Also, if you are handicapped, getting into the water at the beach could be a little challenging, since there is a small steep area to get to the surf line (locals use that area as a toboggan run with their boogie boards!). Didn't go to any restaurants in the area (only at Ko Olinda). The Tamura market 2 miles down the street has everything you need grocery-wise, too. (Farmer's Mkt on Sat) Or simply stock up at Costco's on the way from the airport. All-in-all a great modest little place with great views, an excellent quiet beach, and friendly locals."

  • Memorable March Break

"Our family of 7 was very comfortable at Steve's villa. It was quiet, clean and had everything we needed ( we had to pick up soap and detergent but that was ok ). The kitchen was well equipped and even had a rice steamer. The bedrooms worked well for us and the air mattress was comfy and had an automatic pump so it was super easy to inflate. We had all the kids share the master bedroom which was large enough to accomadate the air mattress and my husband and I took the other bedroom. The swimming pool does not allow kids under 14 to use the hottub and we didn't get a key for entry but the grounds keeper was there to let us in. All in all we enjoyed our stay."
