  • Amazing

"We absolutely loved staying at this unit. The condo itself is was well appointed and clean. The wall of sliding windows, to the large lanai was THE BEST. The pools were great for all ages. The kids particulalarly liked the sandy beach in the kids pool. Make sure to "check in" at the outdoor bar, they serve a fantastic shaken Mai Tai. We will definitely stay again."

  • Ever lasting memories for the kiddies!!!

"Aloha Dolly & Dave... We were a family group....ranging in ages from 2 to 65 plus years of age. We stayed at and occupied the bigger property(both Ewa & Hula Moon). Even with all of us in the house....there was plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing, lounge around & relax, or catch up on some reading on one of many lawn chairs. As a parent it gives me great joy seeing my kiddies playing with their cousins at the back of the house...be it chasing each other around with water balloons/water guns or playing in the sand/ocean. Hopefully these new memories they've created will last them a lifetime. Even though this is my first time in Oahu, I think the property is pretty centralized....it's close to everything. It takes about 30 minutes to get to downtown Honolulu. But beware and watch out, try not to get stuck in rush hour!!!! lol It happened to us when we were coming back from Downtown Honolulu...traffic was barely crawling, it was as bad as back home(Vancouver - BC, Canada), but mind you I think that's the same with everywhere in any big city around the world. Mahalo Dolly & Dave....Dave, it was a pleasure meeting you in person. I admire and envy how youthful you look for your age......I guess all that yard work and surfing keeps you very fit and looking young, maybe I should take up surfing eh? ^_^ Everyone in our group can't wait to come back!!! Cheers, Jim"

  • Wonderful beach side house

"We just returned from a week stay at this wonderful property. We usually stay in Waikiki and this was the first time we stayed at Ewa Beach. It was a nice change to be away from the busy, tourist area. There were many grocery stores, shops and restaurants nearby, both chains and small business. As for the house, it's in the back of a 2 unit property and pretty much sits right by the beach and was incredibly bright, clean and comfortable. It was stocked with linens, towels, pots, pans, dishes, etc. as well as stuff previous people left. There is no AC, but with the ceiling fans and numerous windows, there was a wonderful breeze most of the time. I also enjoyed listening to the ocean at night as it sang us to sleep. The best part was the sun room right by the beach with a deck on the roof. It was filled with boogie boards, a kayak, and whatever else you'll need to enjoy the beach. The deck was a great place to just lounge and enjoy the sun and ocean sounds. Larry met us at the house and was very friendly and helpful. He provide everything we need to enjoy our stay. Will definitely come back again. Thank you Larry for opening up your house to us."

  • Best way to explore Oahu, enjoy the beach, learn body-boarding - all without breaking the bank!

"This side of the island has great beaches without the crowds. The closest beach was great: Waves big enough to bodyboard, but not too scary for my 8 and 10 year olds to go swimming. The apartment is in a gated community with friendly staff."
