  • Wonderful beach side house

"We just returned from a week stay at this wonderful property. We usually stay in Waikiki and this was the first time we stayed at Ewa Beach. It was a nice change to be away from the busy, tourist area. There were many grocery stores, shops and restaurants nearby, both chains and small business. As for the house, it's in the back of a 2 unit property and pretty much sits right by the beach and was incredibly bright, clean and comfortable. It was stocked with linens, towels, pots, pans, dishes, etc. as well as stuff previous people left. There is no AC, but with the ceiling fans and numerous windows, there was a wonderful breeze most of the time. I also enjoyed listening to the ocean at night as it sang us to sleep. The best part was the sun room right by the beach with a deck on the roof. It was filled with boogie boards, a kayak, and whatever else you'll need to enjoy the beach. The deck was a great place to just lounge and enjoy the sun and ocean sounds. Larry met us at the house and was very friendly and helpful. He provide everything we need to enjoy our stay. Will definitely come back again. Thank you Larry for opening up your house to us."

  • GREAT beach property

"My husband and I stayed here for 10 days and will definitely return. The cottage is older, however, is super comfortable, clean, and ON THE BEACH! The kitchen has been remodeled with plenty of space to prepare meals. For us the main attraction was the beach, the view and not being in the middle of a tourist area. Our family lives close by and we had a nice time playing on the beach, enjoying the yard, and hunting for shells especially with the three little ones. While I was familiar with the neighborhood, one who isn't may be a bit hesitant upon their arrival as there is a burned out house on the corner. Don't let this deter you. First of all the property is gated, but even if it wasn't the neighbors are all super friendly. They did keep me up one night with their laughing and all, but they weren't being wild and they were just having a good time. Ear plugs worked great. The bedrooms both have A/C, but like a previous reviewer mentioned we never used them -- the ceiling fans were enough for us. The second bedroom has two twin beds and there is a full size futon in the family room. There are several places to eat nearby -- lots of places with local food as well as plenty of chain restaurants. Safeway is very close for groceries and there's a Costco in Kapolei (15 min drive). If you're interested in going to a more protected beach nearby, Ko'Olina has some lagoons that are accessible to the public (#2 and #4, I believe). Finally, everyone associated with this rental was VERY responsive and helpful. From the owner to the housekeeper to the maintenance person -- all were GREAT. Bottom line, you won't be disappointed."

  • We would definately rent this beautiful home again. Victoria and Willow are very easy to work with.

"8 of us stayed at this beautiful, neat, clean, large home. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. We all made the same comment...we will never stay in a motel when we go on a long vacation. Willow, the property manager met us at the house and went over everything we needed to know and was easily accessible by phone if we needed her. I did call her a couple of times and she responded quickly. We spent some time on the beach in front of this beautiful home. It was quiet, the locals were very friendly and anyone walking by stopped for a brief visit. The kitchen in this home is set up with the best quality pots, pans and dishes. We did not cook much, but when we did it was enjoyable. We did rent a couple of cars and so glad we did. We used the GPS on our phones and were able to easily get around the island. We were prepared for the neighborhood being "run down" which it is, but once inside the gate of this beautiful home, you forget what the locals homes look like."
