  • Exceeded our Expectations...

"The house is very spacious and well designed. With three couples, we still had privacy and didn't feel like we were getting in each other's way. The kitchen is equipped with everything imaginable to prepare your own meals. Enjoyed the private back yard with seating area and BBQ. We loved being so close to a quiet (and beautiful) beach. Cheryl had sent information for tours, sightseeing, etc. in advance of our vacation which was greatly appreciated for planning purposes. We definitely hope to visit Ewa Beach and stay at Hale I Ke Kai again :)"

  • Month on Oahu

"What a wonderful site. we enjoyed the property immensely. And the owner is just a real treat to know. A wonderful and thoughtful lady. In the water everyday, one son learned to surf there, and nearby facilities are very good, especially for children. Highly recommend."

  • A very nice place

"I was looking for a three bedroom to share with a diverse group of ages, ranging from 10 to 83, as my brother was retiring from the Navy at Pearl Harbor, and a group of us traveled to meet up to celebrate. The house was as nice as the pictures - very clean, very well taken care of - the beach is a short walk away, and was quiet each time we went, with beautiful views and gentle waves - the house was large enough that we all had our own space, and we made good use of the kitchen and the large porch. I'd only note that staying at Ewa Beach means you'll do plenty of driving - and dining options outside of fast food are few and far between - beyond that, the area is quiet and residential, there was a fine grocery a short drive away, and it worked perfectly for our particular needs."

  • Family reunion

"Our stay at Ewa Moon was fantastic. We were looking for a house right on the beach and we were not disappointed. The house was clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. We woke up each morning and watched the beautiful sunrise over Honolulu. We spent alot of time away from the house taking in all of the sights, hiking and beach hopping, but when we were there it was quiet and very enjoyable. We visited Ewa Beach Park, Waikiki, North Shore and Lanakai Beaches (make sure to visit this quaint town and beautiful beach). We hiked Pillbox and Makapu’u Point Lighthouse Trails, snorkeled at Hanauma Bay and ziplined at Climbworks at Keena Farms near North Shore. We also visited the historical Pearl Harbor Memorial and U.S.S. Arizona. Make sure to visit the Aloha Stadium Market Place where you can purchase alot of Hawaiian things to bring home. The prices on most items were very good. We ate at the Royal Thai Garden in Ewa Beach and Dukes in Waikiki, Germaines Luau just a short drive away, and the rest of the evenings we barbecued at home and hung out on the patio by the beach. The roosters woke us in the morning which was surprising the first morning but didn't bother us after that first morning. The location of Ewa Moon is not in the heart of tourist activities but easily accessible which was perfect for us. Be aware of the high traffic times when going in an out of Honolulu and Waikiki. Dolly was very nice and we communicated by email several times to set up our stay. Dolly had to leave to go to the main land while we stayed at the house and she emailed me to let me know that she would not be available and provided us with a contact person, if there were any problems. We will recommend this property to friends and family. Mahalo Dolly and Dave for helping to make our stay in Oahu the best!"
