  • Beautiful location

"The house was perfect for our family reunion. We loved the view from the screened-in porch and we slept well with the sound of the waves as background. The fenced-in yard was great for our grandchildren who could run around safely. The kitchen was well-equipped and there were lots of towels and beach toys for us when we went to the beach. We had a wonderful stay there!"

  • Relax in a roomy, clean, ocean front home!

"Everything we could have hoped for: clean, roomy, fully equipped kitchen, quiet (no traffic at all!), shaded porch, grass yard and the beach right beyond the retaining wall. The owner was easy to communicate with and gave detailed directions and instructions about the property. The location makes it easy to head to Honolulu, Pearl Harbor, the west shore or over the island to the north shore in a short time. Grocery store and other conveniences close by. Loved the decor too. The house is a reflection of Hawaii in the 50's and 60's with great photos and memorabilia. There's even a piano and uke if you're musical. Loved sitting on the beachside deck and watching the water during the day and the lights of Honolulu at night. An endangered monk seal visited the beach on a few occasions, fishermen cast their nets nearby and kayakers and stand up boarders plied the waters. A very relaxing stay indeed!"

  • Perfect!!!

"I'm not sure how to describe this cottage except to say it was perfect! We stayed with my son, his wife, and my amazing one year old grandson. This little cottage suited the five of us nicely. The white picket fence was pretty and very handy in containing our little maniac and he was able to run around the grass all day without a single sticker burr. We were very lucky to be the first to stay after Pam and her husband had completely remodeled! The kitchen is beautiful with all new stainless top-of-the-line appliances and the floors and counter tops are all gorgeous! The airconditioning in the bedrooms were the finishing touch for us. A cool place to put the baby (and me) down for a nap was sweet! We walked straight through to the spacious patio and our own private amazing white sand beach! We kept posting pics on facebook and all our friends were amazed and wanted the info! All the reviews are accurate, if understated. I’ve been to Hawaii four times in two years and this was the absolute best!!! Thank you, Pam! We’ll be back!"

  • Great Stay at Hale I Ke Kai

"The house was adorable and the beach was very close. The owners were wonderful people and very helpful. They greeted us upon our arrival and took the time to give us directions and to help us get familiar with the home. The back yard provided a peaceful retreat and we even had a chance to BBQ one night on the large BBQ grill. We also asked about renting surf boards, however the owners saved us a trip and money when they brought over surf boards for us to use during our stay. It was a great location for my family to stay as it allowed us to quickly meet with other family members living in Waipahu. I would highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to Oahu!! Each room had fans to help circulate the air, however some of the family members commented that they wish it was cooler and they missed having an air conditioner. However, it did not deter us from having a good time during our stay at Hale I Ke Kai."
