  • December Holiday

"This was a wonderful location for a family reunion with our adult children. The villa was spacious meeting all of our needs and well-appointed. We particularly enjoyed sharing time and meals around the kitchen island or on the lanai, while listening to music through a Bose audio system. The property at large is beautiful, especially the lagoon pools and hot tub. When we weren't at the lagoon and beach itself, we spent time at here. The staff was so friendly and did everything possible to make our stay perfect. The owner was so helpful, answering our plethora of emails promptly and meeting us upon our arrival to walk through the villa helping us understand how things worked. The surrounding area had enough shopping and eateries that we would have had no need to leave the area, except that this was our first visit to this island and we felt guilty if we didn't explore a bit. We, all six of us, agreed that this is a destination we would not only recommend to our friends, but look forward to visiting again."

  • As Advertised

"Great rental. Turnkey solution. Great view. One of the few units close to the beach. All things you want are included in the unit for cooking, beach, snorkeling, ETC. Two bedrooms/bathrooms for total privacy. Highly recommend."

  • wow. just...wow.

"have been to hawaii many times, but this time went with my two kids and mother-in-law, so we needed some space to spread out. what an incredibly gorgeous spot, and incredibly comfortable home-away-from-home.... waking up in the morning, sitting on the lanai with a glass of ice-cold water in my hand, the warm sun rising on my back, and my eyes blissfully glued to the deep, deep blue of the hawiian pacific.... if there's a heaven, it couldn't be much better than that. the kids adored the pools, especially those exceptional lounge chairs that are partially submerged in the shallow water, and the lagoon was insanely clear and calm and we saw friendly fish and a green sea turtle munching away at the coral and even a SEA LION who swam into the lagoon, checked out all the dorky humans, laughed at us, and then went on his way. advice: skip eating at the disney resort and the marriott hotel to the north; settle yourself at longboard's, at the marriott time share, to the south, as it has the most awesome view. the pool bar at the beach villas, though, will remain a favorite, and the view of the sunset from a palapa will soothe the savage breast. a divine time, truly. thanks. (but don't lose those key cards, peeps!)"

  • A Place of Relaxation on a Quiet Beach

"This is our second year in a row staying at Robin and Daniel's beautiful Villa at Ko Olina. We initially chose this villa because of the advertised view and the location in west Oahu, an area we were not familiar with. Our past stays were all in Waikiki. This villa will not disappoint. The views from the 15th floor lanai are magnificent, especially at sunset! The villa is equipped with all the conveniences of home and is spacious enough for the four of us. The kitchen is a chef's delight, with high end appliances and plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. In addition, if you like to barbecue, there are four gas grills located down by the pools. We used them extensively during our trips. Speaking of the pools, there are numerous pools and hot tubs on the property and there is even a 'quiet pool' for adults. We used all the pools and didn't really find much noise at any of them. The staff at the Beach Villas at Ko Olina are very helpful and attentive. The villa is equipped with televisions in the living room and bedrooms, the living room having full HD capability. Access is provided via a private, key carded elevator. We felt most safe and secure during our stay. The Ko Olina area is more like the Hawaii we remember--quiet, relaxed atmosphere abounds. There are eating places within short walking distance, we particularly enjoyed eating at the local pizza restaurant and the Monkey Pod. There is also an ABC store in the same area. We would not recommend attempting to stay here without a car. We find having a rental car gives us the opportunity to take in some of the shopping in Kapolei and also affords us the capability to drive to Waikiki for the Friday night fireworks show or some more expansive shopping. All in all, Robin and Daniel are wonderful hosts and we find the reservation and check in/out process very easy."
