"This was a great spot for a family gathering as it was half-way between Australia and NYC. The villa was well furnished and had everything we could want and more. It is a beautiful setting, great pool and lagoon areas, especially for the grandchildren, and shops and restaurants were well within walking distance. The sunsets were spectacular and we had a great time.
The only problem was that, as we cooked most of our own meals, we needed a dishwasher that worked well and unfortunately the dishwasher in the apartment needed two visits from maintenance for repair and even then was not working properly again on our last day. I also felt that the cleaning was less than acceptable as I needed to vacuum the rug before we could put the baby down on a playmat on the floor in the sitting room. I'd have happily given the villa 5 stars except for these grumbles."

"have been to hawaii many times, but this time went with my two kids and mother-in-law, so we needed some space to spread out. what an incredibly gorgeous spot, and incredibly comfortable home-away-from-home.... waking up in the morning, sitting on the lanai with a glass of ice-cold water in my hand, the warm sun rising on my back, and my eyes blissfully glued to the deep, deep blue of the hawiian pacific.... if there's a heaven, it couldn't be much better than that. the kids adored the pools, especially those exceptional lounge chairs that are partially submerged in the shallow water, and the lagoon was insanely clear and calm and we saw friendly fish and a green sea turtle munching away at the coral and even a SEA LION who swam into the lagoon, checked out all the dorky humans, laughed at us, and then went on his way. advice: skip eating at the disney resort and the marriott hotel to the north; settle yourself at longboard's, at the marriott time share, to the south, as it has the most awesome view. the pool bar at the beach villas, though, will remain a favorite, and the view of the sunset from a palapa will soothe the savage breast. a divine time, truly. thanks. (but don't lose those key cards, peeps!)"

"We were very impressed with Thuha's villa at the Ko Olina resort. It was very clean, and the location couldn't be better! It feels far away from the big city (and the busyness of Waikiki), but it's still close enough to grocery stores if you need to quickly run and get something for dinner. Our kids loved playing at the beach and swimming in the lagoons. They also loved the rock bottom pool, as it was shallow enough for them to walk around the whole thing. Unfortunately there are no water slides or fountains as we have experienced at other resorts, but our kids were very entertained with the beach toys and different pools to swim in. There's a sidewalk that runs along the beach in front of all 4 lagoons. It was a fantastic place to run in the morning. The condo was well equipped for cooking. There was even some cooking oil and spices (I'm guessing left from previous renters), as well as a rice cooker. The blender was broken when we arrived, but Louie was quick to replace it so that we could make smoothies for our kids. The only other thing I could think that needs replacing is the kitchen knives. They were all very dull. This resort is right next to the Disney Aulani resort. We ventured over there a few times, and went for the character breakfast one morning (worth the $$$ if you have young kids!). I noticed the beach at Aulani (lagoon 1) was way more crowded than the one at the Beach Villas (lagoon 2). I also liked the fact that our beach wasn't covered with lounge chairs. Just lots of room to play! I would definitely stay here again. The location can't be beat! Thuha and Louie's promptness in responding to questions or requests was also much appreciated."

"Wish I had time to leave a longer review, but this was a great vacation, topped by amazing accommodation. Daniel was fast and curious when we made the booking and answered all our questions.
Our flight was delayed, and we didn't land till after 1am local time. I called Blayne at our layover, and he made sure our rental car would be there, and met at at almost 3am to let us in, and show us around. Can't get that sort of treatment at a 5 star hotel.
Our kids loved the Lagoon, and although we toured the island some, everyone was very happy to stay at the resort, swim in the pools, and spend the day on the beach.
The resort staff were also great. No issues with security as noted in some other reviews.
The pictures don't do the accommodation or the resort any justice. You have to see it to believe it.
Thanks again Daniel - we're already planning our trip back!"
