"My family and I are so glad we found this beautiful beach house at Maili Point. The house is right on the beach with direct access to a private beach, with clear waters where you can snorkel, swim, paddle board or surf. The beach house has a great kitchen and dining room that opens up to the garden with amazing views. All of the bedroom upstairs have great views where you can sleep peacefully to the sounds of the waves. There's a beautiful garden with tropical fruits, plants and trees outside. My family and I had a wonderful time that we'll remember for many years. We loved eating outside at the patio underneath the
beautiful plumeria tree everyday. Everything was conveniently provided at the house, including laundry detergent for the washer/dryer. It was definitely unforgettable. I hope we'll be able to come rent it again. One can tell that the family who owns the place love it with care."

"We had an incredibly week staying at Maili Cove which was perfect for our needs. Don the owner is on site and was quick to respond to any of our needs and even took the time to talk to us about Oahu which was a lovely personal touch.
We covered every inch of the island but found that the west coast was the best so we made an excellent choice with the apartment and we have never seen so many perfect sunsets.
The apartment looked better than pictured and to have the door open to the lanai (screen in situ to keep bugs out) and hear the crashing waves serenade you to sleep was amazing.
Maili Cove is a slice of paradise away from all the madness of Honolulu and is a perfect retreat with an exceptional host. I would have no hesitation in recommending this condo."

Great quiet secluded spot - but didn't expect to share with guests from main house
"First off let me say that this one bedroom suite can not be any more adorable, clean or well appointed. It can not be beat because from moment you wake you can look out the kitchen window from your bed and see the ocean to watching surfers catch waves, or locals fish, right from your private deck. Sunsets are out of control!!! Amazing.
However I didn't realize there is a large home and that if guests are staying most of the property is off limits. That means you are to use only the small deck. There is a lovely hammock and chaise loungers that are available - if the main house isn't booked. It wasn't a problem for us because we were on the go much of the time but it would have been nice to know it is a shared space situation.
Overall I highly recommend the rental.
The area of Wainea doesn't offer much for tourists (and there are some areas I would not venture at night) but that wasn't a real issue for us. Snorkeling right off the beach in front of the unit is fantastic too.
I also would like to commend the owner and manager for their flexibility with our departure time. It was really appreciated to arrange a late check out given our flight didn't leave until 11PM.
Enjoy the space - it is amazing."

"our group of 13, 8 adults and 5 teenagers, stayed at this fantastic location for a week. The house is right on the beach. It's beautiful and accommodated our group well. The snorkeling in front of the house is great and there are many kid friendly beaches nearby.
We were incredibly happy with this place and glad to be away from the crowds. It's a bit of a drive to some of the tourist spots but nothing unmanageable. We're looking forward to returning soon!"
