  • The most beautiful place on earth...

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we couldn't have been more happy. It was absolutely amazing. We were met by Carol when we got there and then proceeded to check out the room... and it was just so perfect. Walking into the room was probably one of the most memorable moments of our trip. Carol had fresh pineapple and a bottle of wine chilling for us. There were fresh flowers throughout the room and Hawaiian music playing. The best part was the curtains blowing in the wind to the open lanai and the sunset in the background (perfect timing!). Did I mention the bed practically looks over the ocean? I'll never forget this image in my head! Thank you Carol! It seemed to be sunny over Makaha every day, even when it was cloudy over other parts of the island. It's definitely a little safe haven, and even the hurricanes avoided us. Nevertheless, Carol was so nice and sent us weather updates every day and made sure all was well with the storms coming. We were so excited to see the condo had a ton of useful things to use on our trip... snorkelling gear, bodyboards, towels, beach chairs, an umbrella, maps, books on Oahu, etc. It was nice not to have to go out and buy any of these things for a two week use. If you want to tour the island, Makaha is a little out of the way, but spending your lazy beach days on a (practically) private beach makes it totally worth the extra driving. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and have already decided that going back is a must. Thank you Carol for making our Hawaii experience the most amazing one. Oahu has definitely captured my heart."

  • Exceptional Vacation Getaway

"This property is absolutely beautiful with the most stunning views of the shore and ocean. We just spent a week here and loved it. There is everything available here that one would want in a home right on the beach. If there is something needed that is not available one only needs to ask and efforts are made to get it. One evening we decided to make soup and needed a large pot. We asked and the caretaker, Kelly, brought us a large pot. the owner's brother, Al, was very helpful and made several suggestions about what to see and where to go that were very useful. This property is a little away from the hustle and bustle of what we usually experience in Oahu, but we were looking for a laid back peaceful location with a private beach. It was perfect for us. There are also several beaches in the area that are very accessible and uncrowded. The snorkeling was great. We only had to walk across the lawn to the beach and we were there. The area just out in front of the house was populated with boatloads of other tourist snorkeling, but they had to get there by boat. :) We would definitely consider staying here again is we return to the area. Thanks Joe and Carolyn for a great vacation!"

  • Oceanfront Dream Vacation Home

"We had a lovely time in the house. The location was awesome. The house was great. A few nights it was very hot but .... would have enjoyed having some more wine glasses. Really enjoyed the selection of books to read while there. The tidal pools were great to explore nice that the house had water shoes for walking and exploring the tidal pools. The house was as described. I would totally recommend this home to all."

  • Yay!

"We really enjoyed our stay here. I think what sold it for me was being able to walk out onto the beach from the back door! It was exactly as pictured too. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!"
