  • Great villa, great location

"We stayed in Kelly's villa for a week in early December and had an excellet vacation. The villa and the entire complex are very well maintained. The lagoons and the ocean are great, especially for families with little kids. There are a few baches with good surf within 20 minutes by car. We're not fans of spending vacation in a city, so we liked Ko Olina much more than Waikiki and other parts of Honolulu. There are enough restaurants in the area for one week, assuming you have a car. Special thanks to Kelly for offering a great rate and sorting issues with the cleaning company after our departure (they mistakenly reported that we caused some minor damage, which we did not). Our friends staying in the Marriott next door and spent several hundreds more on a much smaller villa."

"This house was away from the commercial part of the island which made it very quite and nice. The views are unbeatable! I loved having my coffee sitting by the cove beach and seeing the turtles. Tom could not have been nicer and more helpful. He has every water toy you could want for different age groups. The house was more of an older style home except for the kitchen, which was modern and clean and the beds were very comfortable. There is every kind of towel and beach towel you could need. I left my favorite beach towel Tom and did not steal it :-). I loved listening to the ocean waves all night. I would say you need a car if you want to explore the island like I did. Traffic is notorious like any big city. I would certainly rent this house again! This was my first trip to Hawaii and loved it. Thank you again Tom for all your kindness."

  • Perfect vacation!

"The villa was exactly as described. The first floor location is super convenient to get to the pool and beach. The beach is literally one minute walking from the lanai. The villa was spotless on arrival. There were plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach toys to use. The parking space in the underground garage was nice. The management company was easy to deal with and answered all questions. We would definitely recommend this villa to others and we will be back!"

  • Ko Olina Ocean Villa Jan-Feb 2015

"A very comfortable and well-maintained villa with partially-obstructed but very attractive ocean view. We stayed for 3 weeks and had excellent Hawaii weather except for a couple of windy days. There is a greeting service to help settle in and provide orientation. In general, everything was easy to find and most facilities are within walking distance. The elevator served only a small number of villas so waiting time was minimal. The villa was very well-prepared and all amenities were provided for, including basic provisions for cooking and cleaning. There was plenty of room to accommodate 6 adults and a small child. Good facilities for TV and internet if you need them. Some of the bedding was a little worn but beds were very comfortable. We used a mid-stay cleaning service which was timely and efficient. There are other vacation resorts within the overall Ko Olina complex but the Beach Villas are much quieter than the others. The grounds and facilities are immaculately maintained. We were able to walk or jog on the ocean walkway every day, use the quiet beach area and snorkel in the lagoon on calm days. We also travelled to nearby areas for hiking. Restaurants within the complex are generally good but expensive. The central "village" contains almost everything needed, including an "ABC" general store. The villa complex has barbecues for residents' use but there is usually a line-up. There are many options for eating and shopping in Kapolei, located about ten minutes drive away. Access to Honolulu via highway is easy but traffic can be bad during busy hours. Overall, the villa provided very good value for money relative to other locations in the area. We'd recommend to our friends and anyone who wants a relaxing family vacation in luxury surroundings."
