"This is our second year in a row staying at Robin and Daniel's beautiful Villa at Ko Olina. We initially chose this villa because of the advertised view and the location in west Oahu, an area we were not familiar with. Our past stays were all in Waikiki. This villa will not disappoint. The views from the 15th floor lanai are magnificent, especially at sunset! The villa is equipped with all the conveniences of home and is spacious enough for the four of us. The kitchen is a chef's delight, with high end appliances and plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. In addition, if you like to barbecue, there are four gas grills located down by the pools. We used them extensively during our trips. Speaking of the pools, there are numerous pools and hot tubs on the property and there is even a 'quiet pool' for adults. We used all the pools and didn't really find much noise at any of them. The staff at the Beach Villas at Ko Olina are very helpful and attentive. The villa is equipped with televisions in the living room and bedrooms, the living room having full HD capability. Access is provided via a private, key carded elevator. We felt most safe and secure during our stay.
The Ko Olina area is more like the Hawaii we remember--quiet, relaxed atmosphere abounds. There are eating places within short walking distance, we particularly enjoyed eating at the local pizza restaurant and the Monkey Pod. There is also an ABC store in the same area. We would not recommend attempting to stay here without a car. We find having a rental car gives us the opportunity to take in some of the shopping in Kapolei and also affords us the capability to drive to Waikiki for the Friday night fireworks show or some more expansive shopping. All in all, Robin and Daniel are wonderful hosts and we find the reservation and check in/out process very easy."

Great quiet secluded spot - but didn't expect to share with guests from main house
"First off let me say that this one bedroom suite can not be any more adorable, clean or well appointed. It can not be beat because from moment you wake you can look out the kitchen window from your bed and see the ocean to watching surfers catch waves, or locals fish, right from your private deck. Sunsets are out of control!!! Amazing.
However I didn't realize there is a large home and that if guests are staying most of the property is off limits. That means you are to use only the small deck. There is a lovely hammock and chaise loungers that are available - if the main house isn't booked. It wasn't a problem for us because we were on the go much of the time but it would have been nice to know it is a shared space situation.
Overall I highly recommend the rental.
The area of Wainea doesn't offer much for tourists (and there are some areas I would not venture at night) but that wasn't a real issue for us. Snorkeling right off the beach in front of the unit is fantastic too.
I also would like to commend the owner and manager for their flexibility with our departure time. It was really appreciated to arrange a late check out given our flight didn't leave until 11PM.
Enjoy the space - it is amazing."

"It was a long trip from New York but it was sooo worth it. The beach (right in front of you) is unbelievable, the view of the ocean from the balcony is breathtaking, sunsets are spectacular. And you can easily drive to anywhere on the island. Did you get the idea that I LOVED it. Nora's condo has every amenity you could possibly want from beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, umbrellas, every kitchen gadget, even a rice cooker. I've always stayed in Waikiki-never again. I'm already planning my next Hawaiian Princess vacation at Nora's."
