"The apartment lays on a unique location, overviewing 180 degrees of the coast. It stays almost on the sea, making the sound of the waves the soundtrack of your vacation. It is very well equipped and makes you feel like at home, because the owner provides more than what you usually can find in a rental home. Unfortunately, the apartment is old and needs improvements, especially in the bathroom which is very old. We found a water leakage in the bath which the owner said they discovered right before our arrival and that would have be fixed right after our departure. The doors too are very old. The elevator was out of order for maintenance, and the works delayed many weeks respect to the original schedule. The results was elevator unusable for a long period. In our week we found technicians working only for few hours. But that is responsibility of property management, not the apartment owner. Last notice, very often previous guests leave foods in the fridge which owners do not remove, probably thinking that would be appreciated by entering guests. We have taken that as a courtesy, but in our opinion the fridge should be better empty and cleaned for entering guests, since not all persons have same tastes."

  • November 2014 Stay

"My party of two enjoyed our stay at this two story townhouse in KoOlina. The residence is on the end of a dead end street, which makes it very quiet. The residence is clean and sleeps 6-8 people. The location is a 10-15 minute walk to the nearby hotels and restaurants. Leonor was very nice and assisted us with all inquiries. I would definitely stay again."

  • Very nice. Quiet area. Everything we needed

"Very nice place to stay. We had 5 people in the 3 bedroom villa and there was plenty of room for everyone. The villa was stocked with what we needed. I'm glad we stayed in Ko Olina - it was a nice, quiet area. When we went to Waikiki and Honolulu, it was very busy and crowded and that is not what we were looking for in our stay in Hawaii. We did have to drive to the lagoons but parking was always available so that was not a problem. It is also a nice area to walk in the morning. I would recommend this villa and the Ko Olina area if you are looking for a place to stay without all the crowds and traffic. We rented a car and did sight seeing every day and it was nice to come back to this villa at the end of the day. If you're planning on just staying in Ko Olina and the beaches there, you should consider renting a golf cart for your stay to get around the resort."

  • Tropical Bliss!

"This was our first time for a family of 11 using VRBO for a vacation house and we were not disappointed. This beautiful 5 bedroom dream house was amazing and EVERYTHING the owner promised. We had spent several days in bustling Waikiki before coming to the house and when we walked up the stairs we were all blown away. This is what we were dreaming of on a holiday! The house was immaculate, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a kitchen that had everything we needed. There were all sorts of extra toys provided for the pool and for snorkelling and boogie boarding. Our family loved that each day we had the choice to either enjoy the privacy of the pool or walk/drive only a short distance and join the locals on the sandy beach for the playing in the waves. We felt very safe. When you read the last several reviews about this house (I don't want to repeat all the same stuff) I wholeheartedly agree with all the positive things expressed. I would highly recommend this house and look forward to coming back soon. Billy the caretaker was very helpful and we loved the idea that when we left we had some food that we didn't want to throw out and Billy assured us it would be used for the homeless. What a great idea!"
