"We had an incredibly week staying at Maili Cove which was perfect for our needs. Don the owner is on site and was quick to respond to any of our needs and even took the time to talk to us about Oahu which was a lovely personal touch. We covered every inch of the island but found that the west coast was the best so we made an excellent choice with the apartment and we have never seen so many perfect sunsets. The apartment looked better than pictured and to have the door open to the lanai (screen in situ to keep bugs out) and hear the crashing waves serenade you to sleep was amazing. Maili Cove is a slice of paradise away from all the madness of Honolulu and is a perfect retreat with an exceptional host. I would have no hesitation in recommending this condo."Guest: Derek, Hayley and Oliver Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 2, 2014View listing
"Our family stayed at Leonor's condo for 9 days. Our kids are 15, 16, 17, & 19yrs old. The pictures posted are accurate, 5 beds and a pull out couch. Extremely clean, nicely decorated and roomy. We really felt at home as everything you would need is available for use including: beach towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards, coolers, beach chairs, beach buckets/shovels etc. Also, a portable crib in the master bdrm closet. Kitchen is fully equipped and we did cook on the gas grill outside. This is located in a gated community. Basically a small village approximately 2 miles long with 4 incredible man made lagoons, 3 hotels (one being a disney resort) a small shopping plaza, a preschool, an incredible golf course, a marina and a small cluster of condos located in a small area on either side of the street. Traffic is minimal, mostly golf carts coming and going to and from the lagoons. The condo is 1.4miles to the marina and the fourth lagoon. There is a reasonably priced super Walmart in a shopping plaza within a short drive that we bought our groceries at. We ate at an outback steakhouse which was good, close to the plaza. Every place we went I highly recommend: Polynesian cultural center luau. Goes from 12pm to around 9pm. Food and entertainment well worth the price. Hanauma bay for snorkeling. costs about $7.50pp. A must if you like to snorkel but get there early because parking is tough. The North shore, very popular with the locals. Big waves for boogie boarding. Bellow's beach. An incredibly clean, quiet military beach open to the public on Sat. & Sun. If the sign says "public beach closed", ignore it and just proceed to the beach. If you follow it to the end you will come to the military guards. just park before you get there. This is the beach President Obama visits. Clear aqua water and powder white sand. Snorkel/dolphin excursion at the marina. Loved every minute of it and we were given lunch at the end. Every morning we walked to the lagoon to watch the sunrise then back at the end of the day for the sunset. It was really hard getting back on the plane to leave. Leonor is wonderful, easy to reach and very trustworthy. I highly recommend this vacation spot. Your honestly not going to find anything this nice with its beautiful, quiet location anywhere else for the price. If busy is what you like than you can always drive to Waikiki, it's like a beautiful NYC. But I would not recommend staying there!"Guest: Brenda D. "We stayed for 9nts in this beautiful condo. It was a family vacation, 4 adults, 1 child and we had plenty of room. Condo is just as nice as the pictures. Great resort, nice lagoons. ABC store close by. The owner Stephen was easy to work with and also gave us a great price for our 9 nts. We would love to return next year."Guest: Anet Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 5, 2014View listing
"This home on the beach could not have been better. The most beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Plenty of room for everybody. We ate every meal outside at the picnic table. Added bonus was "Sissy", so very gracious and helpful."Guest: Cheryl C. Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 29, 2014View listing
