"We spent a week at Villa 903 and could not have picked a better spot for our vacation. What you see in this listing is exactly what you get ... in fact it is even better! When we arrived the villa was extremely clean and ready for occupancy. Blayne, our greater gave us a tour of the complex and explained how to operate everything in our villa. He was also very helpful in making reservations and recommendations for us. The bar staff was the best we have ever encountered. Marcy, Derrick and Ronn are the best and also very helpful in making reservations and recommending dining spots. Michael was fantastic to work with in making reservations and answering questions. Not only would I recommend this villa to family and friends, I would go back again myself! While at the Villas, be sure to eat at Roy's Restaurant and the luau at Paradise Cove was great. Monkey Pod is another winner as well as the coffee shop nearby. Thank you Michael, we had a great time at your villa! -Howard B"Guest: Howard B. "Our family of 7 was very comfortable at Steve's villa. It was quiet, clean and had everything we needed ( we had to pick up soap and detergent but that was ok ). The kitchen was well equipped and even had a rice steamer. The bedrooms worked well for us and the air mattress was comfy and had an automatic pump so it was super easy to inflate. We had all the kids share the master bedroom which was large enough to accomadate the air mattress and my husband and I took the other bedroom. The swimming pool does not allow kids under 14 to use the hottub and we didn't get a key for entry but the grounds keeper was there to let us in. All in all we enjoyed our stay."Guest: The Penguins Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 24, 2014View listing
"I recently had the pleasure of staying here with my family (old and new!) for a week in the Island Hideaway II. Everything was pristine, from the clean floors and kitchen, to the clean comfortable beds. The beach truly is less than a minute's walk away, you can see it clearly from your doorstep. The particular beach may not be the best for certain activities such as snorkeling and surfing due to lots of coral and low surf, but it is still a beautiful beach with fun swimming, the equipment they allow you to borrow can be put to great use nearby! A perfect beach to relax on with a drink and watch the sunset, and the hundreds of awesome sand crabs scurrying about during high tide especially! David and Ralena were the most welcoming of hosts, and truly made us feel a part of their Ohana. During our stay there were 2 hurricane/tropical storm warnings, during which Ralena brought us candles, flashlights, and batteries as well as making sure we were well-prepared. The storms fizzled out but the genuine concern was much appreciated! They also allowed my day's fantastic wedding to occur on the beachfront, even going as far as to build them an altar and for Ralena to do a special hula dance in their honor. This is not a resort, and is not an experience where you will have your hand held the entire way, nor should it be! This is a beautiful, serene retreat to enjoy the island as the locals do, with respect and admiration for the local wildlife and environment. Could not praise these hosts and/or this location enough, 100% satisfaction :)!"Guest: ZCrews Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 18, 2014View listing
"Ok so I started my Review title with WOW, that's because this home, it's location, the local town, grocery stores, and everything in between, was all that my wife and I could have hoped for. As seasoned travelers, we know what to expect...the unexpected right. As a master scuba diver for over 35yrs, I've seen plenty...never have I only to wade into an inlet such as (4) homes down from this place, and swim with sea turtle, or for that matter, lay in the sand next to them...AWESOME! Additionally, we were a bit hesitant on renting in a local only part of Oahu...let me take that notion away. With a full kitchen, and all the pots and pans needed, we shopped for groceries daily. Let me just say, the locals in the markets, went out of their way to help us. In fact, everywhere we went in this sleepy town, we were met with open arms. We're born and raised San Diego locals that live near the beach, and lots of fun. Well let me tell you, if you're coming as a couple, or a family, this home and neighborhood feels at home from the first day....make sure to visit the family fun night club "Rest Camp" yes i said that correctly. We had more fun dancing there than just about any joint we've ever been in...crazy fun. The band on Fridays as I understand is there each week, and they rock! Personally, I've been surfing since I was 13, however, the week we spent there, was what's called double overhead, and for me that's a bit too much. So, instead the wife and I went boogie boarding a stones throw away, where the surf was much much smaller. I mentioned boogie boarding, they have like 8 to choose from. Oh, another awesome...nothing like plugging in your favorite yoga tape, opening the sliders, and doing yoga to the sound of waves crashing against the sea wall, and the 75degree temp is breezing its way in...way cool! We would highly advise you to have a rental car. There's so much to see, and everything on the island is within an hour away. When we did want to get out, whether to town to shop or to Pipeline, Waimea Bay, and other locations, the drive was easy...but make sure to time it right, they like every place else in this world, has its commuter traffic, but it certainly wasn't Los Angeles rush hour. Overall, it was just what we wanted, and all we could ask for. Well I could have used a pizza pan...what can I say, I'm full Italian, and I love to cook. Aloha to you the reader. Mahalo to the owners who graciously rent their home."Guest: ADL Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 29, 2014View listing
