  • Very nice and very affordable!

"This unit was a great fit for our family vacation. We had 3 adults and 4 teenagers (17, 14, 14 and 14) in our party and this condo met all of our needs very well. The unit itself was very clean, spacious and well outfitted. The beds and bedding were exactly as advertised (very comfortable), the kitchen is well equipped and made meal preparations very easy. The two lanais are very nice. The lower one is right off the living/dining rooms, which make meals outside very convenient, and the upper lanai off the master suite is perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails and relaxation overlooking the pool. The bedrooms are all very nice, spacious and comfortable. The master suite is nothing short of fantastic! The unit does not have its own BBQ, but the extremely close proximity to the BBQ at the pool made up for not having one on the lanai. The owner provides a nice array of coolers, beach chairs, beach towels and beach toys that will fit any family or group using this unit. This unit is truly only a 10 minute walk to Lagoon #1 at Ko Olina, and there is a nice variety of shops and restaurants on the way to the Lagoon. Several of the neighbors are permanent residents, and they were all very friendly and made us and our children feel right at home. The owner obviously takes a lot of pride in the decor and upkeep of this unit. She is very quick to respond to emails and questions, is very thorough in all business aspects of the rental procedure, and has chosen very good people to quickly and efficiently take care of any and all issues that may arise. We requested a mid-stay cleaning as our parents are using this unit for the last half of the month, and both the owner and the house cleaner were very agreeable and easy to work with. My wife and I have stayed in Coconut Plantation before, in a different unit, but we would definitely stay at this unit again and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay that is NOT in Honolulu."

  • Wonderful vacation rental!

"This Ko Olina property is well located within the complex and has all of the amenities needed for a very comfortable vacation. It has been our pleasure to stay here several times and always find the unit clean and well equipped. The owners have been terrific to communicate with and clearly care about their home and their renters. Ko Olina is a beautiful place away from the busy Waikiki beaches but within easy reach, by car, of all Oahu locations."

  • Fabulous Staycation

"Our family stayed in this fabulous condo for nearly a week duing our Fall break. This definitely was a "one of a kind" vacation for our entire family without leaving the islands. Koolina is located away from busy Waikiki. The condo is situated in an area where you definitely feel you left the islands, sitting on a beautiful property surrounded by lagoons, a unique pool with spas, a resort golf course and diverse restaurants. The beach lagoon is just a few minutes downstairs. I especially enjoyed my morning jogs along the lagoons. My children and their friends (ages 8-11) had the most fun bogeyboarding at the beach, but especially loved the pool and the late night swims. But honestly, they spent a lot of time in the condo unit; many times, they just wanted to hang out inside there. I can understand why~ The unit is fabulously designed and well maintained. The 3 bedrooms are very spacious, open living room, with 2 and a half full baths. Their kitchen is just amazing! In fact, we made great use of the kitchen area, cooking our meals, as well as using the hibachi, or grill by the pool area, and sitting outside their patio as well. The accommodations are just outstanding!! We also had some guests over for dinner and my mother in law also stayed over. There was more than enough room for all to enjoy. We certainly had a fabulous time! I would recommend this condo unit to anyone who has kids/ grandparents, friends. It's a great getaway. even for kamaainas (Hawaii residents) where the atmosphere conveys a sense of relaxation within such beautiful grounds. The owners as well were very accommodating and resourceful. They certainly are compassionate people who went out of their way to make sure we have the best stay possible."

  • A great, relaxing holiday with family.

"This was a great spot for a family gathering as it was half-way between Australia and NYC. The villa was well furnished and had everything we could want and more. It is a beautiful setting, great pool and lagoon areas, especially for the grandchildren, and shops and restaurants were well within walking distance. The sunsets were spectacular and we had a great time. The only problem was that, as we cooked most of our own meals, we needed a dishwasher that worked well and unfortunately the dishwasher in the apartment needed two visits from maintenance for repair and even then was not working properly again on our last day. I also felt that the cleaning was less than acceptable as I needed to vacuum the rug before we could put the baby down on a playmat on the floor in the sitting room. I'd have happily given the villa 5 stars except for these grumbles."
