"My husband and I chose Deric to book with for our 25th wedding anniversary and we are so glad we did! He's amazing to deal with. Communication with him was frequent and response time was almost immediate. He was extremely accommodating. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to book with him again. The Marriott Ko'Olina Beach Club is a beautiful resort and the staff from housekeeping to waitstaff to front desk all treat you like you are family. Our villa was perfect with such an amazing view that I thought I was dreaming. The several pools and the wonderful lagoon is all top notch. I didn't want to leave. The entire Ko'Olina resort area is the perfect place to get out of the hustle and bustle of the Waikiki area and enjoy some serene peacefulness and quiet. We will definitely be back and hopefully will rebook through Deric!"Guest: Lori Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 8, 2014View listing
"This was our first trip to Hawaii. Our daughter and son-in-law were able to join us for the week. Working through you and VRBO has been a pleasant experience, definitely will do that again. You have a beautiful place, exactly as advertised. The view outside the main lanai was beautiful, especially at sunset. We could not have been happier with the facilities. All were maintained to exceptional standards. All staff made every attempt to make our stay comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the beach and in the pool. We even grilled dinner by the pool one evening and dined under the stars. We also appreciated having the kitchen with all up-dated appliances. This allowed us to fix breakfasts and late night snacks in the unit. Once again, we want you to know that you have a beautiful place. If we ever have a chance to return we will definitely try to rent your place again. We will also highly recommend you to our friends and relatives. "We greatly enjoyed our stay at Carolyn and Joe's! The studio is emaculately clean and comfortable. Just down the stairs to a beautiful back yard, right on the water with million dollar views! Carloyn and Joe (and Shiela the cat) are excelent hosts always making sure we were enjoying our stay. Its obvious that they enjoy sharing their place with visitors. Makaha beach has great snorkling when the ocean is calm. When the surf kicks up, the back lawn is the perfect place to watch surfers shredding waves! Another reviewer mentioned roaches and ants...we did not have that experience. As stated, the unit was emaculately clean. Next time we are on Oahu, we will be back to visit Carolyn, Joe and Sheila."Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 30, 2014View listing
"We stayed two weeks here and just returned home. We had a great time, very nice to have beach towels, umbrella, fins, snorkel, mask provided for use in the unit. The air in the morning was fresh, plumeria was full bloom so it had a nice sweet aroma. We liked the local feel and fact it was away from the hustle of the Honolulu area. We did drive into the city a few times but spent most if our time there at the property enjoying its great beach. I will recommend the property to family and friends going to the island. Read other review concerning wave and road noise but we only experienced the noise on the first night. We quickly became adjusted and the salt air made us sleep great at night. Stars and moon were a highlight since your away from the big city you can really appreciate the night sky. Thanks for allowing us to stay, we will be returning on our next visit to Oahu.
