"This cabin (house) was just what we were looking for. The house was beautiful, well kept and more generous in size than we expected. we will definitely return next year."

  • Excellent two month rental.

"I recently completed a two month stay in this unit, and I found it to be homey and well-maintained. The owner and his local agent were very responsive and accommodating. The location is great - outside the main traffic areas, but only a 5-minute walk/bike ride to the center of town. The River Run Lodge is only a 5-minute walk in the other direction. The off-street parking is a nice perk, too. When I didn't cook at home, I particularly enjoyed eating at Perry's or Despo's. The first annual Ketchum Jewish Film Festival was fun, too. Altogether, I had a great stay and would be happy to return."

  • Lovely Home!

"My family rented this home along with my brother's family (eleven people total) over the Christmas holidays. It is a truly lovely home that very comfortably accommodated all of us. The very large gourmet kitchen is perfect for cooking and preparing meals for large groups. The bedrooms are all a nice sized, and each has its own bathroom! A definite plus with teenagers! There is a cozy TV area for the kids and a spacious living room area for the adults - so everyone has some space. There is a sizable mudroom off the garage and leading into the house that had plenty of room for our whole brood to get out of ski suits and boots, along with large closets to hang everything! There are sleds for outdoor fun and plenty of toys for indoor fun! The owner was very helpful and prompt in answering questions and dealing with issues. The jets on the hot tub stopped working the second evening into our stay, and with in 24 hours he had repairmen out and the problem was taken care of. Both Baldy and Dollar ski areas were a quick (less than 10 minutes) trip from the house. Again, it was a terrific house, and we hope to be able to rent it on our next trip to Sun Valley!"

  • Not a rental, a HOME

"The previous reviews are spot on, but this property is all that's written and so much more. This was our second trip to the area, and our umpteenth time vacationing at a rental property in various locations. However, with its warm and inviting, lived-in feel, this house felt different than a typical "lacking" or "camp/cabin" rental property. It was more like staying at a good friend's home while they were out of town. As the reviews mention, the house had EVERYTHING you could possibly want (from pastry cutters and meat thermometers to wifi to well-stocked linens and extra pillows), was VERY clean (and we are an extremely picky family..), but also had all the sweet touches that made our stay cozy and comfortable. Cable TV's in every room? Check. Extra fans for warm days? Check. Plenty of blankets when it's chilly? Check. Sweet decor and tips on the local area? Check. Extra toiletries (band-aids, razors, soap, shampoo, etc)? Check. They had it all. We loved the location, too. Town was within easy walking/biking distance, but the property was secluded enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature in the backyard. The bike trail is at the neighborhood entrance, Warm Springs fishing is across the street, and the pool was refreshing and quiet. The backyard was green and full of trees, and we enjoyed eating literally every meal on the patio during our 9 day stay. Our only (very minor) complaint was lack of lounge chairs or hammock. It would have been the icing on the cake to take a leisurely nap outside! (...would a hot-tub be going overboard for next year? We don't think so...) :) Truly, you can't go wrong with this rental. We almost hesitated in writing this review...because we want it all to ourselves next year!!"
