  • Amazing Waterfront Home

"We absolutely loved our time here. We were a little concerned when we were driving to the property from Sandpoint ie, distance away. But we were more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived and saw where we were. We didn't need to leave, it had everything we needed!! We had our own private beach and dock. It was so peaceful and the river (more like a lake) was like glass everyday. The house is in immaculate condition, very clean, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful decks etc etc. The owners met us and were very friendly and answered all of our questions and let us know lots about the area. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away for a truly private and peaceful vacation. And if you want something more to do, Sandpoint is a short 20 minutes away. Amazing!!"

  • Skier's Paradise -- 1 minute to ski!

"We enjoyed Sun Valley so much and the comfort of this home and it's owners is highly recommended. The owners were easy to work with and extremely accessible even though this is not their primary home. The house was well stocked with shampoos, soaps, paper towels, sponges, etc.. Literally you could go ski the day you arrived. We enjoyed their restaurant recommendations (Christina's, Vintage, and Ketchum Grill). We had over 50 inches of snow during our March stay and not once had to worry about the plow or ease to /from town or the ski areas. Even though it is not "ski in/out" it is less than 60 seconds to the base if the gondola in River Run. I can not thank the owners enough for the referral on their local chef, also incredibly priced. All of us fit nicely (9 yr. twins, their grandfather and us). We flew in from Philadelphia and would absolutely come again. What a surprise and delight and admittedly our first VRBO stay."

  • "This cabin is FANTASTIC! It has everything you need right down to the spices in the kitchen! We had a wonderful time relaxing on the gorgeous patios surrounded by towering pines. This cabin is private yet only a short walk to town. It is perfect for a family getaway any season! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back for more. Thanks so much!"

  • Hummingbird

"This house was PERFECT for a family stay. It is located approximately 3 miles north of Ketchum, and there are hiking/mountain biking or XC ski trails located right out the door. The valley-long bike path is conveniently accessible, and it is just a short bike ride to Ketchum. The home is beautifully is an owner's residence and not just a rental with the minimum amenities. It is more than fully equipped. Lots of space for casual entertaining or more formal dining. The bedrooms are spacious and also beautifully appointed. In the summer, the recreational opportunities and cultural events are quite limitless. And the weather was perfect, as is usually the case in the Sun Valley area in the summer. With all of the snowmaking capabilities of both Bald Mountain and Dollar Mountain, the skiing will suit anyone from beginner to experienced. The lift lines on these mountains are never very long, and the high-speed lifts mean one can get a lot of skiing in one day. The gondola runs to the top of the mountain in the summer for meals, sightseeing, or mountain biking. We would most enthusiastically recommend this lovely home for a family won't disappoint. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating as well."
