  • Super Nostalgic, Wonderful Adventure, Terrific Views and lots of stairs!

"My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Hahn home. We stayed for 4 days in July. The long winding dirt road up the mountainside to the cabin is steep and narrow (cliffs and no guardrail) so be sure to bring everything you need the first time up. The architecture of the Hahn home is intriguing and most of the furnishings appeared to be original and in excellent condition! Loved the yellow couch and touch of orange! It was like stepping back into the 60s....but with a microwave! Very nostalgic. The view is spectacular and every window takes advantage of it. We went in July and it was very hot. The bedroom upstairs was a bit warm for me so I ended up sleeping in the twin bed downstairs where I could be next to the screen doors and breeze. I used the upstairs master bath and was surprised to find a really nice porcelain tub with lots of room to shower. The bathroom was very clean. This home might be old but it shows very little signs of use - truly one of a kind. Stairs. Lots of stairs. The parking is above the cabin on the hill so we got lots of exercise packing our stuff in and out. The stairs are very steep/uneven and there are a lot of them. My husband did the majority of packing everything down the 72 steep/rocky steps, including our cooler and all belongings (he made several trips, which is why he knows how many stairs there are!). Once on the main floor, there are spiral stairs to the bathrooms and bedrooms. Then there are stairs down to the dock. I enjoyed all the exercise I was getting, but for this reason, it's not a great place for pets (or people with disabilities). There is no flat land or beach for a dog to use around the cabin or a good place to hang out or cool off. We really enjoyed kayaking, fishing and swimming off the dock. The lake is very popular but there are still fish to catch. My husband caught 3 trout. We found it best to go early if you want to fish before the water skiing/jet skiing begins (around 11AM). We had a wonderful time and hope to return!"

  • CDA Condo

"The "LeCondo" was outstanding. the owners were very helpful and answered all our questions. We traveled with our 13 and 15 yr old grandsons and the condo was great, plenty of room for privacy and very well laid out. The condo is located above some businesses in a small upscale mall setting but we never heard anything form either businesses or other condo residents. We found some great shopping right below us and we used the new 14 theater not 200 yards away. Some great restaurants and this condo isn't clustered in the very condensed CDA Lake area that is very hectic. We went to Silverwood Theme and water park, 200 acres of great fun. Tickets at costco were a great price and the food at the park was very, very good and very affordable. Took a trip to Wallace and spent a great day there. Came home to the condo and went to the huge patio where we used the professional bar-b-Q and the fire pit to finish the day with great food and a nice fire. The park right next door had a fantastic free concert with two bands, one called "Second Opinion" that was comprised of all Medical Doctors. They were OUTSTANDING! They had wine and beer for sale at the park and everyone had a blast. The condo has underground safe parking and the owners had Trek Mountain bikes available for our use. They also had beach towels for Silverwood which we used on the second day. The first day we rented towels for $3.00 each that were paper thin and slightly larger than a hand towel. Took another trip to Schweitzer mountain and went zip lining and took the chair lift to top of the mountain where we saw some Crazies with mountain bikes take off and scream down the steep cliffs, surrounded by rocks and trees. This is a great place to stay, professionally decorated and had all the comforts of home. The area is quiet yet full of places to eat, shop and relax in and very close to freeway access and Hwy 95 that goes north to Silverwood. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic vacation in beautiful CDA."

  • Sun Valley in July

"This condo was a perfect place to stay! It's clean, quiet, and the beds are very comfortable. There is cable TV and Internet in the living room and just about everything you need to enjoy your stay! The view is breathtaking! You can enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony, breathe in the fresh air, and watch the sunset, or just enjoy looking at Bald Mountain! The location is perfect! It is only a 10 to 15 min. walk to town or to the Sun Valley Lodge. The bike trails are just across the street. If you don't want to drive or walk, there is a free bus right out on the main street outside the condo. I really enjoyed my stay in Sun Valley, Idaho. I definitely would recommend this condo to my family and friends!"

  • Everything & More!

"Extremely clean, comfortable and private! We had the pleasure of staying here for a week and enjoyed every minute; just as the photos and description in the listing reflected there is easy access to the beach, downtown and Tubbs Hill. Jodi and Glenn are fabulous people who ensure your stay is memorable, without imposing. We are looking forward to returning to this gem!"
