  • Excellent Stay

"We had a wonderful 8 day stay at this condo, which provided everything we needed for an excellent vacation in Sun Valley. We chose the apartment because of its proximity to relatives we were visiting in the area, who live only 2 blocks away. So that was perfect. Beyond that, the condo is located within a 2 minute walk to everything you need in town, so it’s unbelievably convenient for anyone! While we weren’t there in winter, it seems that it’s an equally easy walk to the slopes. We love the open feeling of the living room, dining room and adjacent deck – great for hanging out with our family, which generally meant 6 or 7 people, including a 22 month-old who was kept busy with the abundant array of toys at the condo. Whether hanging out on the deck or on the incredibly comfy couch in the living room, the view of the mountain is sensational. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare a terrific meal – which we did frequently during our stay. Barbequed on the deck a few times as well. But of course there are some superb restaurants in town – particularly wowed by the Knob Hill Inn Grill (amazing view), which we understand is tough to get into during high season (we were there during what is referred to as slack), and loved Michael’s Christiana. Coffee at Java or The Grinder mid-mornings was a treat as well. Also enjoyed food shopping at both the Market and Atkinsons – surprisingly good selection with nice array of healthy choices. Overall, the condo has everything you need – high quality, comfortable beds, a washer dryer, plenty of linens, etc. Accommodations, with one master bedroom (a queen bed), another room with a single twin plus bunk beds and an additional single room, seem best suited for one couple and up to 4 kids… or a couple and 2 singles (2 more if the extra singles don’t mind sharing a room or sleeping in a bunk bed). Making our arrangements we smooth and easy – Jennifer was always accessible and an excellent communicator. Overall… a wonderful experience."

  • Cozy Sun Valley Condo

"Our family enjoyed this cozy Elkhorn condo which was clean, well-furnished and located on the first floor of the complex. The kids loved the convenience of being located next to the Elkhorn Village pool and jacuzzi and we were steps away from the tennis courts. It was nice to start our mornings with a game of tennis followed by a nice walk or a hike on Dollar Mt. The free Sun Valley bus stopped across the street - also a bonus for our kids who love to be independent in the Sun Valley area. Thank you for a great stay!"

  • Great Family Get Away!

"We loved our stay! We had 8 people total (6 adults, 1 four year old and a 9 month old) and the house was a perfect size! We especially loved seeing horses near the house and the open kitchen concept (perfect for having so many people in a house). Our stay was over the 4th of July and the owners even recommended the best parades and fireworks to see while we were in town!"

  • The title is accurate but does not tell the whole story. This is more tha a recreational paradise.

"The hardest part of this retreat is believing it is the one on the hill with the most beautiful view of all. When we stopped at a neighbor's place to make sure we were in the right place, he said< "no, it's that one up there," pointing to a beautiful home at the top of the opposite hill. The pictures in the listing cannot do the actual location justice. When we walked into the upstairs studio, we found a cute, well-designed and appointed unit with all the amenities you could want for a comfortable stay. It was clean, well-maintained and the owners invited us for wine and to show us how to best get to Mt. Rushmore (our ultimate destination). We found great hiking and fishing nearby, without the crowds we found in Jackson. The owners were not there when we first arrived, but they had told us to help ourselves to the hot tub next door. Wow!! What a spa...and what views from the warmth of the water. We would recommend this retreat to any of our friends or relatives and plan to stop here every time we are traveling east through the Tetons. It is a much better stay than anything we could have found in the Jackson area. When we left Chuck's place, we took he and his wife's advice and took the route through Yellowstone and to Cody instead of through the southern part of Wyoming. The trip was fantastic and the views incredible. We would never had known to go that route without Chuck's help. These two are fantastic hosts and know what it takes to make travelers feel at home. Don't miss the opportunity to stay at their studio if you are traveling through the Teton/Yellowstone area. You won't regret meeting them and enjoying their hospitality."
