  • Great location for access to nordic ski trails and mountain biking

"We have taken over Tom's house twice and have felt lucky that he let us stay in his beautiful home each time. The other reviews are accurate in their descriptions of the pleasant atmosphere, the tranquil location, great cooking amenities and configuration, and Tom's hospitable, kind, considerate nature. I've never stayed in a VRBO rental that I've enjoyed more than this place. When we found this listing on line and decided on it as a center for a skiing vacation we had only the pictures and Tom's correspondence to go on. The pictures are accurate, but like most photos, don't do full justice to a really good thing. Tom's nature comes out pretty clearly if you send him email and he'll give you any info you need. The soul and feeling of the house and surroundings are things you can only experience first hand. This place is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the extensive Nordic skiing trail systems and great ski touring opportunities north of Ketchum, towards Galena Pass. The Harriman trail ends/starts about a mile north of this house. Tom has an excellent, hand build, waxing bench in the big garage (which has stereo sound, good lighting, and is heated). Be nice and maybe he will let you use it. Both of the times we have been here have been in the winter, but I've mountain biked in this area a lot (world class mtb trails around here as well) and the house is within 100 yds of some amazing single track. Take good care of this house if you rent it. I want to be able to come back."

  • Fabulous getaway for 2

"Romantic vacation getaway. The location is close enough to town so you can grab a bite to eat but far enough away to enjoy the great location. Kelly was a thoughtful hostess and was easy to work with. We had a relaxing stay for 2 nights. Thank you! We hope to be back next year!"

  • Well-stocked, cozy rental in an ideal location

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at this clean, modern, well-stocked condo in Riverstone Village! You have your own parking space in the underground garage and a key fob is provided for using the lobby entrance from street level. The bathroom has plenty of towels, TP, and a hair dryer. There are plenty of extra pillows and blankets in the unit. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and other cooking necessities. There are lawn chairs and coolers to use for picnicking or going down to listen to live music in the park. DVDs, puzzles, and board games provide things for you to do while you're in the condo. There's plenty to do right outside the condo as well: there are restaurants, shops, and a movie theater just downstairs, as well as a few coffee shops and an art studio where you can paint canvases or pottery. Check out the street fair every Thursday night during the summer. Walk across the street and catch the Centennial Trail, which you can walk or ride on along the river to downtown and then along the lake. It's about a 45 min walk to downtown or a 5 min drive, where you can check out the shops or take advantage of the beautiful lake. While it was a more expensive than we had intended to spend, it was much nicer and better equipped than the cheaper condo we stayed at in another building in Riverstone Village. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our 3-week stay there."
