Recent Coeur d'Alene Lake property reviews

  • Family of Three with Lab

"We had a great time. The cabin was spotless and fully stocked for our needs (kitchen, indoor games, outdoor games, grill, etc.) Our five year old loved playing in the lake and we almost got our dog swimming. The directions were helpful and we couldn't of had a better Labor Day Weekend getaway."

  • A few changes and the stay would have been excellent

"My husband and I joined my girl friend and her family for a few days stay at the lake. We stayed in the float house. I think the float house makes the property work. If we would have had to stay in the upper house for the 5 days we were there it would have been very boring after day 2. It is unfortunate that people who review the property can't post their own photos, the professional photos can be deceptive. I found several items in the upper house a bit off. First the TV is in a closet upstairs in bedroom, if anyone wants to watch a movie I am not sure what they would do, carry it down to the living room? This is a vacation home and there is no blender in either of the kitchens. There is a stereo system in the upper house, but the CD player doesn't work so you are stuck with radio. The float house does not have any music at all, had that been on the web site I could have adjusted for that and brought an iPod dock for us to use when we were there. Also for the price of the rental the linens need to be updated. The sheets on the bed in the float house were simply unacceptable. They were very old and very scratchy, I was surprised they didn't have holes in them. There is quite a bit of road noise from the freeway across the lake, if you are a light sleeper I recommend ear plugs. The path to the float house from the upper house is lit, but I recommend that you use a flash light when going down at night some areas of the path are a bit dark. The house is equipped with basic kitchen items. There are life vests, items to use to float in the lake with, which we really enjoyed, a canoe, and lots of puzzles. The grill at the float house is a charcoal grill the one at the top house is a gas grill. I recommend you bring all personal items. People do leave a few hotel sized items for use. Bring your own hair dryer, extra toilet paper, and tissue. A few small adjustments and this could be a top notch rental. I was also surprised at the lack of info in the house about things to do. We rent houses/condos a lot and always go to the "binder" in the house for information. There is no internet- I didn't bring a computer but that information should have been on the rental page. While the house may be only 15 miles from the "city" be aware it take a while to get there so plan your shopping accordingly -- don't waste time driving back and forth to town. We enjoyed our stay and had a lot of fun."

  • Amazing Stay

"We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at this lake house. The property was beautifully kept. The views were stunning. Everything was 5 star. My family and friends are still talking about it. We rented a boat for the week through a local Harrison Boat rentals. The delivered to the dock the day we arrived. Dennis provided kayaks and a canoe as well. My kids, relatives children, and their friends (ages 6-14) had the best summer vacation ever. They swam right off the dock, enjoyed tubing and water skiing in the boat, and smores on the beach at night. Dennis was absolutely a fabulous host. A great tour, so helpful before, during, and even after our trip! He shipped us items we had left without prompting! Just amazing hosts. I can't say enough of this place. The pictures don't do it justice. So comfortable. Roomy. Relaxing. Just amazing. I did plan ahead and brought a wireless hot spot for AT&T with me. It had no problem connecting to a cell tower and my kids enjoyed xbox gaming at night, everyone had ipad and PC web browsing, etc. Highly recommend you do that if you want internet beyond just your phone. Overall, we had the best time in many years with family. We are looking forward to doing it again next year and would love to be able to stay at this beautiful home again!"

  • Loved it!

"I rented this adorable cabin for three weeks. My family and many friends came to spend time and everyone enjoyed the peace and quiet of this beautiful spot. I have been home 5 days now and miss the lake. I hope to go back next summer."
