"My wife and I are very picky where we stay. We want the best deal for the best price. Tubbs Hill Studio was just that. Location is everything. The lake is a block away with a very cool trail into town that winds around the mountain; with lake in view the whole time. The studio is quiet and cozy and situated in the nicest, safest neighborhood in Coeur d' Alene. It's a perfect place for two! The owners are really awesome people."

"This is my husband's and my second time to vacation in Coeur d'Alene and our second time to rent this home. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. This house just feels like home. Our adult children rented another home down the street, but all the gatherings were here. We tried to be back everyday from our activities to sit on the deck with wine and hummus and watch the most incredible sunsets over the lake. We also enjoyed the deck every morning, having hot tea and breakfast and watching all the birds come feed at the feeders. This home is in close proximity to downtown, but far enough from the crowds. The home is also conveniently located to the running/walking/biking trail along the lake. We also enjoyed the dock -- swimming and hanging out on the water. We will be back again!"

"I cannot say enough about the peaceful and cozy atmosphere of Scharelant ! We went there for a "Sister's Getaway Weekend" and were truly blessed. Had planned many events for the course of our weekend...but ended up staying the whole time as this spacious studio. It had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked, every appliance that we could possibly wish for & more. Fresh flowers and cookies greeted us upon our arrival.
Relaxed by candlelight, enjoyed the panoramic lake view from every window. Lounged in the outside sitting area, enjoyed the sunset and ever changing scenery. Well maintained, clean & quiet. Our hostess, Lois, was absolutely wonderful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived, until we had to leave. She had a passion for making our stay top priority, very gracious & kind hearted. She also gives an awesome massage....
Thank you Lois for helping to make this weekend, one that will remain in our hearts forever !
Overall, one of the most relaxing weekends, I have spent with my sister in the past 35 years.
It was a time for rejuvenation, reminiscing, reconnecting, relaxing and restoring relationships.
Would highly recommend this cozy retreat to anyone that is seeking peacefulness and restoration! Went away feeling re-energized and restored.
We will be back !!!"

"My Wife and I stayed for 4 days. What a peaceful place. We felt like we were on our own island on Monday and Tuesday as the summer season had just ended. The early evenings were our favorite times to either hang out on the wrap around deck or go sit on the personal dock. The walk down to the cottage and to the dock was not to bad but coming back up can work you a little;-) The local Osprey paid us a visit twice and lots of deer walking around. Kayaking was very nice and we explored the cove and then all the way down to the Yacht club. Monday we were picked up at our personal dock by a fishing guide and went for a half day trip. My wife landed a 14lb Pike. We let that one go and kept the 5lb pike we caught for dinner. The drive down the rough dirt road and then the hike down the hill to the cottage make you feel like you just left the busy world and have found a secret hideaway. We drove to Harrison and another 7 miles and took the 3 north back to the 90. Beautiful sights to see. The floating walkway around the Coeur D'Alene resort was something we did twice. Leo was always available for any questions when I called and more than willing to serve if we needed anything. It was a blessed stay for us and we were reminded how nice it was as we traveled home back into the world. Our second flight had to make an emergency landing in Medford, OR as they thought there was a fire:-( 4 hour delay but we finally made it home to CA. We are looking at coming back with our 4 kids in summer of 2016."
