"My wife and I are very picky where we stay. We want the best deal for the best price. Tubbs Hill Studio was just that. Location is everything. The lake is a block away with a very cool trail into town that winds around the mountain; with lake in view the whole time. The studio is quiet and cozy and situated in the nicest, safest neighborhood in Coeur d' Alene. It's a perfect place for two! The owners are really awesome people."

"This property is everything a nook should be - cozy, clean, minimal-yet-enough, and even more. Though we unfortunately only had one night there, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.
The place is tucked far back on a rural road (perfect for a sunny morning walk!), yet conveniently close to CDA via 95.
The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedroom is bright and clean, and the patio is nice to enjoy breakfast on.
Diana was very prompt in her communication with us, and we were overall more than satisfied with our stay there.
P.S. Go to Satay Bistro for dinner! And don't let the strange location fool you - it was one of the best eating experiences we've every had!"

"I ratify the other reviews. We were three couples who stayed a week and spent most of our active time riding our bikes on the fantastic Trail of the Coeur d'Alene. We also rented a boat from Mike and Patty for the day to tour the lake, which was good fun.
Mike and Patty are excellent local hosts who both grew up in the Harrison area. The house is very nice with a large 4 stall garage for all your toys and a good driveway. One of the two downstairs bedrooms is a bit small, but the three beds were all good. Everyone slept well and played hard. Both the upper and lower decks are great with nice views. If you are there in the hot months, bring an extra umbrella to supplement the one that is there for late afternoon when the sun is hard to shield (tie to railing) or simply move to the lower deck.
It is a steep gravel road down to the lake, communal dock, and paved bike trail. Most will probably choose to drive down and park unless you are on a mountain bike.
Many mornings we rode the bike trail to Plummer, a wonderful 28 mile round trip route along the lake and up through a delightful forested valley. A perfect and gorgeous workout to start the day. Go the other way up the river and you have another 30 lovely miles (one way) until the trail starts to parallel I-90. Wildlife abounds in both directions. Take a day and ride the super Hiawatha Trail at the divide.
Harrison is just a few miles away and is fun and quaint. It gets busy on weekends, but can be sleepy during the week."

"Our family loved your beautiful home. Our stay here was simply amazing and
enjoyed by three generations of our family. The kids loved being in the lake and
the supply of ‘water toys’ kept all of us entertained. Kayaking on the lake was so
relaxing, the cool water invigorating, and the peaceful morning views from the
We really appreciated the tram for the grandparents (not to mention luggage
and groceries!) And we really liked the open living space with all the tropical and
beach-themed décor, it reminded us of Hawaii!
It was a pleasure to wake up each morning to breathe in the cool, fresh air, hear
the water gently lapping on the beach, and see the billowing clouds at sunrise
tinged a rosy pink. This is a place we will think back upon fondly as we conjure up what comes to mind when we hear the word “vacation.”
Your attention to detail is what makes this a vacation “home.” Thank you for letting use your home so we could experience all this."
