"My husband and I took our two teenage children to Coeur D'Alene for a week long vacation. We rented this home and it was perfect for our family. The house is very pretty and the pictures just do not do it justice. There was a bedroom for each kiddo and their own bathroom/living space with a walk-out basement door. The upstairs is very open and roomy. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook all week.
The best part of the house was the new deck in the back yard. We sat out there every morning drinking coffee and looking at the lake. There were often deer roaming the back yard area. Each night we would lay on the chairs to look at the stars.
The drive into town only took about 15 minutes. The owners were there to greet us when we arrived and were very helpful in showing us around the place. It was a three - five minute walk down to the water, where our children swam off of the boat docks each night. There is no beach right there, but the drive to the public beach was not bad.
The only downside to choosing this home was the lack of wi-fi service. Being T-Mobile customers, we had zero service outside of the city. Not only did we have a hard time planning things to do while at the house, we had no phone service for the week, which was a bit of a concern. Other than that one thing, the week was perfect and the house was awesome!!"

"We hoped for a quiet place to shut down and we found it. Very quiet and the deck that looked out onto the lake was utilized each morning for sun and coffee. Wow! The fire pit is amazing as is the entire property. There is ample seating inside and out. The home is equipped with personal necessities in case you forgot something. The kitchen is equipped with more appliances than you can use and has extra refrigerator in the garage. We felt at home here. The owners went our of their way to make sure their renters are comfortable. Thank you for a great time!"

Thanks for sharing your wonderful house on the lake
"Thanks for sharing your wonderful house on the lake (it looks different in winter than in summer, but beautiful just the same). The house has beautiful views from every window – we were able to watch two Bald Eagles flying in the bay. The kitchen was very well equipped. Best of all, the two living areas on two levels allowed kids to watch their own television downstairs while the adults visited upstairs. Skiing at Silver Mountain is only 40 minutes away – the guys and kids even made a trip up to Sweitzer (spelling?) Mountain in Sandpoint. Everyone had a great time.
Thanks again for sharing your fabulous home on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene."

"It's hard to find a property that meets all my requirements - comfortable, clean, affordable, near/on the lake and accepts dogs - ta da! This was it! Rarely can I sleep anywhere but home, but both of the beds in this cabin were so comfy! And great linens and other details - all nice quality and it didn't feel like it was furnished with items from the thrift store or things people left behind! Three coolers made it comfortable until evening rolled around and it got a great cross breeze. The deck was large and had plenty of seating. The upstairs loft had amazing views and a comfy futon to sit and reflect while looking out. My husband made use of their private dock and caught many fish. The yard was nice with a hammock and glider, picnic table and big grill. My only complaint was that the yard wasn't fully fenced as I had thought from the photos, so I could just let the dogs ramble around but had to take them on the leash every potty trip. A bit of an inconvenience, but not bad - and once I blocked off the deck, they could hang with me outside and enjoy the views and watching all the birds and listening to all the boats going by - very busy lake. And we were greeted with a super clean place AND homemade cookies - yum! It's a narrow gravel road from the main road and from the dock - but easily walked or driven to get back and forth. It seems like you are way out of town, but there are services not five minutes away! Very nice and great hosts!"
