"My wife and I stayed for the better part of a week in this lovely, very clean home with two bedrooms and nice kitchen with W/D and all appliances. Luxurious towels in the single bath. Location is less than a 5 minute walk from the main city park with tennis, picnic facilities, water play area for kids, extensive playground, miles of hiking trails on Tubb's Hill, and the marina. Easy walk to downtown shops and many restaurants and taverns. Despite proximity to all these amenities, the actual street and neighborhood is VERY quiet and restful. The owners have done a fine job making this a very comfortable and relaxing location. Owners easy to reach with any questions. Highly recommended!"

"This is my husband's and my second time to vacation in Coeur d'Alene and our second time to rent this home. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. This house just feels like home. Our adult children rented another home down the street, but all the gatherings were here. We tried to be back everyday from our activities to sit on the deck with wine and hummus and watch the most incredible sunsets over the lake. We also enjoyed the deck every morning, having hot tea and breakfast and watching all the birds come feed at the feeders. This home is in close proximity to downtown, but far enough from the crowds. The home is also conveniently located to the running/walking/biking trail along the lake. We also enjoyed the dock -- swimming and hanging out on the water. We will be back again!"

Thanks for sharing your wonderful house on the lake
"Thanks for sharing your wonderful house on the lake (it looks different in winter than in summer, but beautiful just the same). The house has beautiful views from every window – we were able to watch two Bald Eagles flying in the bay. The kitchen was very well equipped. Best of all, the two living areas on two levels allowed kids to watch their own television downstairs while the adults visited upstairs. Skiing at Silver Mountain is only 40 minutes away – the guys and kids even made a trip up to Sweitzer (spelling?) Mountain in Sandpoint. Everyone had a great time.
Thanks again for sharing your fabulous home on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene."

"We returned to the Driftwood Lodge this year for another fabulous week. The home has been remodeled and is beyond gorgeous. The hospitality amazing.
The updated kitchen is a joy to prepare meals in - we easily made prime rib, salmon, homemade mac and cheese and grilled out several nights, too. Everything you need is available and makes prep, cooking and clean-up very easy. The rooms are comfy, cozy and perfect for kids and grown-ups. We sat out at night to watch shooting stars and spent the days playing in the warm water and boating the lake. This property is perfect!"
