  • Well stocked, comfortable house

"We had a great time at this farmhouse. Plenty of sleeping spaces, spacious dining area so the whole group could eat together. In case anyone cares: Downstairs bedroom - queen bed Downstairs office (on way to bathroom) - twin bed Loft area - twin bed plus trundle Upstairs bedrooms - one with 2 queen beds, one with 2 twins and a trundle. The kitchen was huge and AMAZINGLY well stocked. Loved that they had baby stuff- bed, high chair and umbrella stroller. We went sledding on the sand dunes in St Anthony and visited Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park. Would recommend to friends, enthusiastically!"

  • Wonderful place!

"We shared the place with a few friends, had a fantastic time. The location right on the lake made for a beautiful sunrise, snow glistening on the lake surface, and with convenient getaway to Brundage. Thanks for opening your place to us!"

  • Couldn't have been better!

"This place has it all!!! Lone Elk Lodge has the charm, the view, the space, and the best people to run it. Barb and Steve are they caretakers of the lodge and they are wonderful. They made our stay so comfortable and completely carefree! This house has top of the line...well, everything. Everything from the grand theatre room to the HUGE kitchen for gathering and entertaining was absolutely perfect for our party of 17. Barb and Steve were the perfect hosts as they were accommodating but not so much where they interfered with our privacy. There was an occasion where we ran out of propane for the grill and Steve was there quick, fast, and in a hurry with a replacement and a smile. I was getting married that weekend and my limited budget shot down my plans for a traditional venue reception. I asked Barb if the property was appropriate for a backyard reception and she made it work!!! It was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was user friendly for the caterer, the yard was perfect for our tables and dancing, and the sunset behind the golf course setting allowed for the most amazing pictures. My boyfriend and I visited Jackson Hole (from PA) last October and got engaged in the Tetons. We knew we wanted to be married in the area and have a small wedding with immediate family and close friends. We set our date for June 21st and were blessed to have made our "wedding" a week long celebration. My family stayed in Lone Elk Lodge and my husbands guests also stayed in Victor, Idaho. Our dream wedding of being married in the Tetons would not have been possible if we hadn't stayed in the valley. You get the most for your money, the best people, awesome restaurants, and being out of the immediate tourist town allows for more quality family time. With that being said, anything and everything worth seeing/doing is only a short drive. You WILL NOT be disappointed if you stay at The Lone Elk Lodge! Happy Traveling :)"

  • Amazing wedding weekend with family and friends

"We just spent a week with family and friends at this amazing estate to celebrate our wedding weekend - and it was perfect! We rented the main house and guest house and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably: parents and siblings had privacy in the guest house, friends had a central place to hang out in the main house, we had the entire upstairs master, and we even had some people staying in RVs. The property is large enough to host an event - we had a 4th of July BBQ for about 50 people on one of the lawns, as well as give everyone parking and breathing space. The guest house is very large, with a full kitchen large enough to cook meals for a whole family. The hot tub and creekside environment helped relax everyone between events and there were plenty of outdoor spaces for games and for our dog to play. Ed the owner was amazing to work with - very prompt and detailed in his responses. Everyone who stayed with us said they would love to rent this property again in the future!"
