"This was our first time staying at Uncle Billy Bob's and it was far more than what we expected. The unit was clean and offered more amenities than we needed, but they were much appreciated. The covered eating area outside the unit provided the perfect shelter to escape the rain that accompanied the mountain thunderstorms, and offered a relaxing environment from which to enjoy the fresh rainfall and listen to the thunder reverberate across the mountainsides. The redneck theme was entertaining and the singing fish and flowers made a great symphony that added to the humor and festivities of the environment. Diane is a terrific owner and was a very attentive hostess and ready to answer any questions you asked of her. Access to the beach and river below the unit is not challenging and provides an excellent means to keep children occupied and engaged in healthy physical activities when accompanied by an adult. This location also provides access to the Boise National Forest and other recreational activities. The wife and I have reviewed Unit #3 and we are interested in exploring it as a getaway for ourselves."

"August 2013. I'd told them we'd be staying in a cabin along the river for a couple of days. Their first impression: "This is NOT a cabin! It's a dream house!" There was plenty to do to keep the 13-yr old twins busy exploring while their mum relaxed on the deck soaking up some rays and pretending to read a book (with her eyes closed). There was a huge thunderstorm the first night and the power went out, so we cooked supper on the BBQ grill and later made s'mores in the fireplace. The ping pong table got a good workout when it was raining outside for a bit the next day. The cabin's very close to where we met up with Garden Valley Trail Rides. We'd taken a bag of carrots along so the horses could have a treat when the ride was done. Great fun! We opted for (relatively close) Bonneville Hot Springs for a little hiking and a nice soak the day after riding. Loved having a dryer so we weren't packing soggy clothes for the rest of our trip. Great value for the price. Recommended!"

"We five sisters needed a get-away, where we could play & rest & drink in God's creation. And that we did. It was very private. The scenery exceptional, especially when the osprey & deer were active. The cabin is lovely., well-stocked, & very clean. The hosts are very gracious. And the garage for line-dancing was a bonus! Thank you Bridgett & Steve!!!"
