"Our hiking group stayed for one week at the end of September and we loved the cabin. The view was beautiful as the trees were starting to change. Location was perfect, about 20 minutes to Yellowstone west gate entrance. We were able to spend entire day hiking and relax at night. The kitchen is very well-equipped. Crock pot is the best! Dinner is ready for you when you get back from a long day hiking. We used the gas grill one night on the porch watching the eclipse of the Super Moon. The beds were comfortable and the master bed had a much needed heating pad that was put to good use. All the amenities you need, especially washing machine and dryer and extra bear spray just in case! And even an iron and ironing board, which sounds unnecessary, but for scouts like us we have badges to iron on!! Melodie and Gary were very attentive to our needs. They answered all our questions in a timely manner ahead of our trip and when we arrived they were even more responsive to answer any questions we had. Also, the cleaning service contacted us midweek to make sure we had enough supplies."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this VRBO. There were 10 of us total- 4 adults and 6 kids. Kids ages ranged from 2-14. There main house is a nice size with all the bedrooms upstairs and the kitchen and living room on the main floor. There are beautiful views of the lake. The float house is very nice and in great condition. We hung out there a lot in the afternoon and early evening, and had fun swimming, eating appetizers and sipping drinks. The staircase/trail down to the float house is a bit of a haul, but did not deter any of us from going back and forth at any time. It is well lit with solar lights at night, but good to also bring a head lamp for extra light. The kitchens were well stocked in both the main house and float house. There are many water accessories available- floatation devices, life jackets, and a canoe. There is a gas BBQ and a charcoal grill at the main house and a charcoal grill at the float house. Overall, we had everything that we needed. It was a great spot for families, and was very comfortable. The hot tub and air hockey table were a total bonus, and provided many hours of enjoyment. Teresa was very responsive through out the process of renting and contracts. She was quick to answer questions, and when we had a issue with the hot tub that we couldn't fix, she came out with someone and fixed it while we were boating. We are definitely coming back next summer."

"This cabin is very private and very well built. We didn't want for anything...everything was included in the design and the supplies were way more than expected. Two awesome decks are perfect for relaxing and watching deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife that share the beautiful area! The cabin had everything to make our stay perfect! Would definately stay there again. Owners are great people who strive for perfection."
