  • Fantastic place for family vacation gathering!

"This is a wonderful cabin with LOTS to do and plenty of sleeping space to accommodate a large family or multiple families sharing. We had a 3 generation family vacation here with ages ranging from 8 to 70. There was something to enjoy for everyone. They have a nice game room with a pool table and Nintendo, board games, puzzles, etc. that the kids and parents enjoyed in the evenings. The house has a very cozy fireplace and a full covered deck that the grandparents really enjoyed. We ate most our dinners out there. The lake offered great activity and the cabin comes complete with an overload of kayaks, canoe, paddle oat, water floaties and toys. The waterfront is a nice pebble beachfront, not rocky or muddy. The lake itself is a little weedy and, I think because we vacationed in September, a little low. The dock was great for fishing, but the water was only waist high at the end of the dock, making diving off the dock prohibitive. It was still a fun swimming area for younger kids though. Older swimmers preferred to take the paddleboat out a little further and jump from it for swimming. There is also a wonderful fire pit area for evening campfires. We would come back to this place again."

  • Great condo

"We had a great stay in this lovely condo. It's spacious and well laid out with all the comforts. The beds are comfortable and the master suite is very large. The views are wonderful and the price is very reasonable. This is so much nicer than a hotel!"

  • A charming, peaceful lake vacation - thanks to this little piece of cabin heaven

"If I could give a 6-star (or more!) rating, I absolutely would. Rustic elegance sums it up perfectly. The location is remote (22 miles off the 90 and located in Harrison, Idaho), so you truly feel like you are getting away- and in a very good way! This was one of my favorite family vacations ever, and I've gone on many. Well-maintained, beautiful home and grounds. Let's start with the panoramic views- from the deck, pebble beach, fireplace 'lounging' area, front lawn - it was breathtaking, especially the sunsets. This really is one of the best places on the lake, especially given Western exposure. By the way, the fireplace area was reminiscent of a high-end lodge hotel environment was a very pleasant surprise, as it wasn't even pictured in the listing! The inside of the cabin was amazing, the kitchen was the most well-stocked I've ever encountered in a rental and it has been recently remodeled. Nice tile, granite countertops, soft carpet. TV for those that need it with satellite. Plenty of space to lounge- liked the two bedrooms upstairs (A-frame style with rooms on either side both with a queen + twin), then two queen rooms downstairs. The owner, John, was amazingly helpful and answered all of my questions (I'll admit, I'm super Type A and do my research and he never lost patience on me at all, ha). We rented a boat for one day which is fun, as there is a slip - but, beware, boat rental is very expensive. There is an adorable canoe on property which we had fun with, great swimming beach. Harrison, ID is 6 miles away and a cute visit, you can rent bikes along the lake which I recommend. We didn't eat out much and instead toted most of our meals over. Mostly relaxed around cabin/outside and it was wonderful. It really is the best cabin ever- no joke! Thanks John, for your amazing hospitality."

  • Perfect Place In Coeur d'Alene

"We just got back from spending 3 nights at this beautiful condo. I am a very picky renter as far as cleanliness goes and this condo gets five stars in that department ! Everything you need, it is here. Kitchen is beautiful and has everything you will need to cook. Bathroom, spotless with BIG fluffy white towels! The floors are awesome, they are pebbled epoxy, soft on your feet and great to keep away any type of odors, my dog who we travel with normally goes nuts when we rent a pet friendly home and this was the first place where he didn't sniff around like a lunatic. That says something right there about this condo! If you have a dog that you travel with, you know what I mean. We no longer rent pet friendly hotel rooms because my dog doesn't settle down all night from sniffing the previous dog smells! My kids were happy and comfortable in the pull out couch. If you are looking for a place that sleeps a family of 4, has wifi, is cozy and comfortable yet spotless, look no further. Gina the owner is also readily available to answer and talk to you anytime! Thanks again, Gina!"
