  • Relaxing Weekend Getaway

"We had such a great time at this lake cabin. It was perfect for our needs (kids ages 9 & 12 with primary goal of playing in the water the whole weekend). It has a great dock, beach & swim area. Lots of deck space overlooking the lake with great views. There are neighbors but they are not so close as to be intrusive. This is a great area of the lake. Very relaxing & beautiful. I enjoyed lounging on the top deck with a book when my kids were noisy & rowdy in the water. I could still watch them but not get splashed. The kids loved the loft bedroom. The cabin is not fancy or very modern but was cute, comfy and everything we needed. The owner was a very nice man, easy to work with and communicate with. We went in August and the weather was perfect. We hope to be back next summer. Things to be aware of: The road is narrow & driveway is steep. We got a lot of good exercise going up & down the stairs. Not the cabin for toddlers or anyone who can't do stairs."

  • Clean & cozy!

"The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The floating dock, water trampoline and Whoosh pad made swimming really enjoyable and the water temperature was perfect. We had two adults and one child so the cabin was a perfect size. Views from the deck are beautiful and we loved sitting on the deck swing in the evening while looking out at the lake. We LOVE Hayden Lake and have already started planning another trip next year!"

  • Amazing Family weekend retreat!

"This lake house is the most amazing place in Idaho! Half way between us (both sets of parents/grandparents and our grown kids and their two boys) we each drove 300 miles to come here. This house is so comfortable and livable. One grandpa was on crutches with a broken ankle and other then the few steps to get down to the front porch he was able to maneuver the place very well. The master bath has a walk in shower besides the jetted tub, so he was set. All the living is on one level (two other kings beds in the downstairs) so he was able to play pool, get to the table, deck and everything but the boat dock, but just sitting on the deck under the evergreen trees watching bald eagles, mallards and other birds catching fish was awesome. We even saw deer. Those that could get to the dock saw little fish in the water ducking in and out of the water plants. I was up early one morning and took my coffee out to the deck and got to see a bald eagle chase another bird that had just caught a fish, the fish fell about 40 feet with such force that it sounded like a gunshot echoing around the lake. One night we had the most awesome thunder crashing. The acoustics are outrageous there. All in all our visit was the most relaxing time. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in in my entire life. Everything is furnished so luxuriously. We felt like kings and queens. Thank you guys for sharing your lovely lake house. We will defiantly stay there again."

  • A trip I can't wait to go on again!

"This was such an amazing house to stay in! From start to finish, I loved every minute of it. The road that takes you out to the house gives you a good idea of how big the lake is and also lets you take in the beauty of the area. It's so peaceful and calm. The location of the house is perfect! It's on one of the few real points of the lake that gives you views from so many different angles. As soon as you step into the house, it feels like you're stepping back in time. The kitchen, the living room, the bedrooms, bathrooms, and even Bing's bar area is all original. The original design of the house makes it feel like home away from home and brings you and your family/friends closer together. Lake accessibility is so easy with the dock! Being able to rent a boat from the marina just across the lake also makes it a great place to stay if you're looking for a boating experience but don't have one. Also the proximity to Montana was fantastic! We drove over to Montana to bike the Hiawatha Trail and it was so much fun! A really easy drive, and a really amazing experience. It's also a short and easy drive into Downtown Coeur D'Alene where there are SO many great restaurants and things to do. I loved everything about this house and loved being able to have friends and family staying under the same roof. It's perfect for family vacations, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and a vacation with friends. I can't wait to go back!"
