"As someone else already said, where do I start? This home exceeded our expectations in every way! We literally just returned from Hayden Lake yesterday, and I wanted to write while it was all fresh in my mind. When you first arrive, the thing that really grabs you is the view. From the house and from the deck, it's a panoramic 180 degree close up view of one of the most beautiful parts of the lake. When we weren't playing in the water, we spent much of our time on the deck of the house where we called "mission control." Two comfy lounges and side tables with a perfect view of the lake and everything happening on it. And talk about water toys! Kayaks, a Seacycle, which I had never heard of but LOVED using, a paddle boat, a canoe, and a fishing pontoon boat. Not to mention assorted float toys, skis, and about everything else you could think of. We didn't have a boat, but it's a PERFECT place to bring one if you have one! There's a small beach area and a HUGE rock to jump off of. We have probably never stayed at a more well stocked and CLEAN home. Everything you need is supplied, in the kitchen for cooking, a washer/dryer, box fans if you need them, towels/linens, a coffeemaker, TV, and not one but TWO gas barbecues! Endless supply of perch for kids to catch, and large mouth bass right off the dock. The owners couldn't possibly have been more responsive, and the on-site manager Jeanne was wonderful. We loved chatting with her! There is a camp down the bay a bit, and in the evening we could hear kids singing lovely camp songs, drifting across the water. Coupled with the view it was almost too wonderful to grasp. We were incredibly grateful we were allowed to bring our dog, and she had so much fun swimming and watching boaters from her perch on the deck. I really could go on and on, (and already have!), but there's just so much to love about this home. Thank you to the Gerends and Jeanne for giving us a vacation we will remember for years and years to come! I would give it a 10 out of 5 stars if I could."
