"What an amazing place for a family getaway. If you are looking to get away from it all this is the place. The wildlife sightings were endless with Bald Eagles, Moose (about 30 ft away) and the deer were more prominent that people. The home was very warm and comfortable while being luxurious at the same time. Our family had an amazing getaway. It is a little bit of drive to town but we didn't mind."

"Stayed for 4 nights in the middle of summer. House was a great layout, dealing with the managers was exceptional, things were clean and the privacy that all the trees provided was amazing. It came well equipped with games and toys, and the bbq area was stocked and ready for use. The hot tub was clean with a fresh refill and ran off bromine (a lot better for your skin then chlorine), This is the third property I've stayed at in sand point now, for the price id say this is the best bang for your buck."

"This was our first time to northern Idaho and we were very happy to stay at the Osprey Nest. It was my wife, me, our 11 month old and my mother in the cabin. The cabin had everything we needed for an 8 day stay and the size of the deck was great.
My one concern leading into the trip was the high expected temps (95) and that the cabin didn't have A/C. Since the house faces east, only 20% humidity during the day, is shaded by the trees, and has good wind off the lake, temps in the house were never a problem.
The biggest surprise was how close great hiking was to the cabin. About 0.2 miles from the house Gold Hill ascends about 1400 ft in about 3 miles to a great lookout of downtown Sandpoint and the bridges.
In eight days, we were able to mountain bike at Schweitzer, race in the Sandpoint Long Bridge Swim, go charter fishing for Kamloops, hike about 20 miles, bum around Sandpoint a couple days shopping, rent a boat for the day and most importantly just relax by the lake.
On the last day of the trip my wife and I both agreed, it would be hard to take another week long vacation anywhere but Sandpoint and the Osprey Nest."

"THIS VACATION WAS INCREDIBLE! EVERY DETAIL FROM THE SPECTACULAR LOCATION RIGHT DOWN TO THE LINENS WAS BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS. WE REALLY ENJOYED THE AMAZING OUTSIDE FROM THE BEACH TO THE PADDLEBOARDS AND KAYAKS TO THE MANY SEATING AREAS TO TAKE IN THE AWESOME VIEWS. THE KITCHEN WAS BEAUTIFUL AND HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. WE LOVED HOW THE GREATROOM WAS OPENED TO THE KITCHEN AND ALL THE WINDOWS WITH THE PANORAMIC VIEWS OF THE WATER AND MOUNTAINS. THIS WAS MY FIRST VACATION SINCE MY ACCIDENT 14 YEARS AGO. THE HOME WAS VERY ACCESSIBLE FOR MY WHEELCHAIR. WE ALL DECIDED WE WILL CERTAINLY RETURN NEXT YEAR. THANKS KELLEE FOR MAKING OUR VACATION PERFECT!"
