"We love North Idaho in the fall. This property was close to family, hiking and much more. The house was set up very well for a week's stay and appreciated how clean everything was. This property was a great discovery for us and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for sharing your home."

"My wife and out two young children came back to Sandpoint in late September to to get a perspective of it in fall. This house is a perfect three bedroom layout, with all three bedrooms on the second floor. The kitchen/living room/dining room makes the home. Stone counters, new and clean appliances. Wonderful lounging environment. Beautiful views of the lake and plenty of privacy from the 3rd ave public pier. All three bedrooms are ample size and the rooms and the linens are equivalent to a 4-5 star hotel room, which is always something I am wary of in rental homes. Location and scenery are unmatched, and it is an easy walk to downtown Sandpoint. We will certainly stay here again in subsequent visits."

Very comfortable vacation house in a relaxing setting.
"The house was perfect for our two families with kids - lots of sleeping room and living room. The access to the dock and beach were great, and there is lots to do in the Sandpoint area. The house and fixtures are in good shape and well cared for. The layout of the kitchen was a bit odd (fridge right opposite from the stove), but it was fine for the time we were there. The deck and the views were outstanding - very relaxing to sit out in the morning and evening and look at the lake!"

"This was our first time to northern Idaho and we were very happy to stay at the Osprey Nest. It was my wife, me, our 11 month old and my mother in the cabin. The cabin had everything we needed for an 8 day stay and the size of the deck was great.
My one concern leading into the trip was the high expected temps (95) and that the cabin didn't have A/C. Since the house faces east, only 20% humidity during the day, is shaded by the trees, and has good wind off the lake, temps in the house were never a problem.
The biggest surprise was how close great hiking was to the cabin. About 0.2 miles from the house Gold Hill ascends about 1400 ft in about 3 miles to a great lookout of downtown Sandpoint and the bridges.
In eight days, we were able to mountain bike at Schweitzer, race in the Sandpoint Long Bridge Swim, go charter fishing for Kamloops, hike about 20 miles, bum around Sandpoint a couple days shopping, rent a boat for the day and most importantly just relax by the lake.
On the last day of the trip my wife and I both agreed, it would be hard to take another week long vacation anywhere but Sandpoint and the Osprey Nest."
