"My family and I have stayed at Little Bear Lair for the past 3 summers, and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay each time. The cabin comfortably fits the needs of our family of 5, with a great location in terms of access to the lake, where we can dock our boat, and access to town. The cabin itself is very clean, well-stocked, and well-maintained, and has been recently renovated with the addition of a new room. The cabin’s outdoor eating area is a lovely patio with gorgeous views of the lake- perfect for family meals, and morning coffees. Fred and Brenda are extremely gracious hosts, who are very welcoming in sharing their piece of paradise with guests. Little Bear Lair is the perfect place to enjoy everything Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille has to offer, and we are anxiously anticipating our return this summer."

"Our family spent a week at this cabin in August. The cabin was ideal for our family and we felt it was very well equiped with high-end appliances and bedding. The view from the cabin in amazing, we thourghly enjoyed swimming, boating and just hanging out on their very larg deck. We plan to go back next year!"

"This property is a real gem, right near the heart of Sandpoint. A very private and rustic setting that gave a real feel of the area and it's history. This property offers privacy from all sides, even lakeside as the main house is tucked up into the trees. For our 2 families (4 adults and 5 children ranging in age from 17-22), we rented the main house and the bunkhouse for the 3 boys, which ended up offering tons of personal space. The kitchen was well appointed and there was adequate bathroom(3) space to accommodate all of us. The beach offers privacy as well and the diving board off the dock was an added bonus. This property has a lot of character and we all really enjoyed our stay."

"This property was great for more then one family, with lots of space for everyone! The games room and sun room as well as large dining and living areas were great even on those evenings when it rained. Upstairs the five large bedrooms gave everyone some private space as well. Blackberries and blueberries were in season and much enjoyed! The only drawback was the "lakefront" was quite a way from the cabin down a steep hill and over a open railroad track where a loud train went by a number of times each day. All in all though, the large amount of space made up for it - excellent for your next get together!"
