Really fun location - nice and big house - close to Silverwood!
"We enjoyed staying at this house as we went to Silverwood . It has rustic charm and we appreciated the space indoors and out . The manager/owners were very accommodating and helpful and responsive we look forward to returning again."

"Our party was made up of 2 families (total of 11 people) for our week at this wonderful house. The house was perfect for our large group! There are 4 bedrooms on the upper floor and they quite nicely accommodated 2 couples (although the master bedroom is WAY larger than the other room with a queen bed, so deciding who gets the master may be an issue if you have 2 families staying here), 4 young adult ladies (bunk room), my elderly mother (room with double) and two young men (stayed in the LARGE lower floor games room). There are 2 bathrooms (one down and one up). The house was well stocked with all kinds of towels including swim towels and it had a great washer and dryer in the large downstairs bathroom. The kitchen has all the amenities you could possibly need and was well stocked with basics, including plenty of dishes and some spices. The dining table is very large, plus there is a lovely deck out back with more seating area.
The best part of this property is the fantastic gazebo and beautiful dock. We spent much of our time in the gazebo or swimming in the lake when were "home." The lake is clear and warmish and given that we had 90+degree weather each day, we were in the lake at lot! The house came with kayaks, a paddle board, and life jackets of all sizes. Very fun! We rented a boat from Bottle Bay Marina for 3 days and that was one of the highlights of the trip. We took a trip down to Garfield Bay in the boat, docked at the public dock and had ice cream cones from the store there. The young people wake boarded and tubed and had a blast.
Sandpoint is about 30 minutes away, so stock up on groceries your first day. We only had to make one more trip to the store mid-week and we combined that with a night out for dinner.
The only cons of the house was the lack of air conditioning. As I mentioned, we had 90-95 degree weather and it was HOT in the house, especially in the bedrooms. There are ceiling fans which certainly did help. We had also brought a portable air conditioner and floor fans from home which we really appreciated. I know the heat was somewhat uncommon for that time of year, but air conditioning would be a great addition. When we first arrived I was somewhat apprehensive about the one-lane road that splits the house from the grassy area and gazebo. But, there are very few cars on the road and we actually enjoyed walking up and down the road and meeting the friendly neighbors. All in all, a fantastic home and location!"

"This condo had every amenity both inside and out! The owners have thought of everything, especially when travelling with young children. Whether we needed beach towels, a blender, tennis raquets, tupperware, cards, Boggle, puzzles or movies, this condo had it all! Close to a great playground and tennis courts, and not too far to downtown, it was a great location especially for the price. We usually drove to downtown or to the beach - you could walk, but we had to carry so much stuff anyway that we decided to drive most times. But parking was plentiful and we never had a problem. The air conditioned, spacious condo was such a nice reprieve to come back to after a long hot day at the beach! We'd stay again in a heartbeat."

"So sorry that I am late submitting this review, but felt compelled to give a fantastic rating to this condo and to Janna! My family stayed at Janna's condo for 2 weeks over the summer and could not have been more pleased. The property manager was prompt, courteous, helpful and even had her husband replace a smoke alarm battery over the weekend! The condo is beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished, gorgeous views of the lake and mountains, parking spot conveniently located to condo, fabulous washer/dryer in unit (I LOVE that they make music when cycle is complete -- I want these for my home!!!). I thought the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed (and we cooked quite a few dinners at home). I especially appreciated the addition of the cooler for us to take on boating and driving trips -- that was REALLY helpful and nice to have available for our use. Proximity to the Seasons pool, hot tub and spa cannot be beat. Proximity to town of Sandpoint, all the restaurants, stores -- fantastic (this condo's balcony is the PERFECT spot to watch Sandpoint's 4th of July fireworks)! I simply cannot say enough nice things about this condo, it's location, it's furnishings, and creature comforts provided. Janna was such a pleasure to work with and extremely responsive to all questions and needs. We're hoping to retire in Sandpoint in a few years, and staying at Janna's condo helped us feel certain that Sandpoint is the place for us! We want to come back in the winter -- will definitely see if Janna's place is available for us again!"
