  • Absolutely Perfect!!!

"This house could not have been a better fit for our group! Plenty of beds, plenty of space, and plenty of peace and quiet! The living room, kitchen, and dining area gave us plenty of room to all hang out together without feeling like we were piled on top of each other. Spacious, warm, comfortable and inviting are the words that come to mind. One of our favorite things about the property was the huge backyard with space for tossing the frisbee or football or just relaxing, right alongside of the beautiful rushing river. Easy access to tons of recreation - we especially enjoyed taking advantage of some of the beautiful hiking nearby, as well as fishing (not that we actually caught anything...a little too early in the season) and hot springs! Mike and Sheri were super helpful and easy to get in touch with through the whole process. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better setting for our week away, and we look forward to hopefully coming back again soon!"

  • Great Home

"My husband and I took our two teenage children to Coeur D'Alene for a week long vacation. We rented this home and it was perfect for our family. The house is very pretty and the pictures just do not do it justice. There was a bedroom for each kiddo and their own bathroom/living space with a walk-out basement door. The upstairs is very open and roomy. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook all week. The best part of the house was the new deck in the back yard. We sat out there every morning drinking coffee and looking at the lake. There were often deer roaming the back yard area. Each night we would lay on the chairs to look at the stars. The drive into town only took about 15 minutes. The owners were there to greet us when we arrived and were very helpful in showing us around the place. It was a three - five minute walk down to the water, where our children swam off of the boat docks each night. There is no beach right there, but the drive to the public beach was not bad. The only downside to choosing this home was the lack of wi-fi service. Being T-Mobile customers, we had zero service outside of the city. Not only did we have a hard time planning things to do while at the house, we had no phone service for the week, which was a bit of a concern. Other than that one thing, the week was perfect and the house was awesome!!"

  • A spectacular, memory-making experience in true cowboy style!

"I hesitate to write a review only because I don't want the secret to get out! Sawtooth Valley Ranch is a truly magical experience for anyone. My family stayed there (5 adults, 4 children and we had room to spare) for this past week and cannot wait to go back. The Lawler family has outfitted this home to perfection. Each bedroom is comfortable and cosy, offering quiet space in the midst of a big family gathering. The living spaces are wide open with gorgeous views. The sprawling lawn leading to the pond was the perfect place for the kids (6 and under) to run, run, run and play for hours. Cocktails on the porch watching the sunset over the Sawtooth Mountains was stunning. And the spot is a terrific location for exploring the Valley. This is a must-do for any group looking for a way to escape the pace of city life and truly revel in the Idaho experience."
