  • perfect week in July!!

"Two families, with 3 kids each stayed here, and it could not have been a better week! the weather was fantastic( 90 degrees, sunshine every day!), the water was warm( 76 !), calm, and it was very quiet and private. The view from the cabin is spectacular, and the dock has been updated from the photos here. Just lovely, and the owners are super helpful and accommodating! I Cannot recommend enough! Thanks again, Larry, for an easy, wonderful summer vacation!"

  • Perfect Getaway! Really Romantic!

"This is the 3rd year we have rented Gary & Carol's beautiful home and this year we celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary there! It is a beautifully decorated cabin and very comfortable! We love the fact that we can snowmobile right from the door and then at night we can soak in the hot tub under a sky full of stars! This cabin is on our yearly list to rent!"

  • Spacious, Comfortable, and Beautiful

"Our party of eleven, consisting of six adults and five kids, stayed at this beautiful cabin for a full week. Calling Falling Water a cabin is a little bit inaccurate, this is a fully-equipped two-story, six bedroom, three bathroom home. Everyone in our party had all the privacy and comfort they wanted. The interior design makes excellent use of space, with almost all of the rooms using pocket doors. The carpeted bedrooms have night stands, drawers beneath the beds, and wall hooks for hanging clothes. The home's interior boasts exposed wooden beams, a vaulted ceiling in the great room, comfortable carpeting, and a complete set of appliances (stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, and washer/drier). Ventilation is excellent, and the gas fireplace is very efficient. One "extra" that surprised me was the generator, which we needed to use one night after a storm temporarily knocked out the utility power. The home is literally across a small bridge from the Elkins Resort, where we had access to the boat rentals, beaches, and of course the store, bar and restaurants. Staying at Falling Water you really do have the best of both worlds: the room, privacy, and quiet of a full sized home with the amenities of a resort right next door. The beach is a five-minute walk, either on a path through the woods or a walk down through Elkins Resort. If you are visiting Priest Lake for the first time, while the beaches are nice the islands are exquisite. We rented a pontoon boat and went down to Kalispell island, where the white sand beaches were uncrowded and just beautiful. Priest Lake is a very clear lake, not crowded, and an ideal vacation spot."

  • Great family vacation!

"This was a wonderful spot and cabin for our family's lake vacation. We had 6 adults and 4 children. The children ranged from 1 to 8. As recommended by the owner, we brought a gate for the 1-year old for the deck, which worked out very well for us. We also brought a beach umbrella for the dock, where we spent most of our time. The description of the area, the cabin and the amenities was very accurate. The kitchen was obviously furnished by a gourmet cook and well appreciated by my gourmet cooks. Actually, the whole house was well furnished with lots of extras. The owners were super helpful with any questions we had and very easy to work with. Leonard Paul is a store in walking distance down the road. They carry groceries, beer, wine, rental movies, as well as restaurant items, ice cream cones, and an espresso bar. It's one of the local hang-outs. A little ways up the road from there is a great boat rental place (Crown Jewel Water Sports); owners are nice to do business with. Lots of good places for hiking boating, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Upper Priest is beautiful spot for canoeing as well. Hill's Resort (across the lake from Coolin) has an excellent restaurant. Cavanaugh's at Cavanaugh's Bay (same side of the lake, just a little further than Coolin) also has good food. All in all, we were very happy with our accommodations and would recommend it to anyone interested in a nice vacation at a beautiful pristine lake. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We're looking forward to a repeat vacation here."
