  • The Best Rental

"We stayed here a few years ago. We tried other places for the last 2 years... And we have not found one that compared to this place!!! We are so excited that they are booking again!!! The backyard is perfect size for a soccer game ... Then dive off the diving board after you get too warm ... All the sun in the dock all day long ... Now willow bay marina is open ...a stones throw away for gas ... So perfect!!! The house is well stocked ... Close to Sandpoint ... Just perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • Amazing family vacation

"We just got back from what we consider our best family vacation thus far! The owners were amazing to work with, very personable and all around friendly, actually come to think of it that was our experience everywhere we went in town! The town is great, it's small but has fabulous restaurants and great shopping. The town seems to have a collective emphasis on local, sustainability, and green/carbon foot print. Bikes almost outnumber cars, ingredients at restaurants are as local as possible, and there are innumerable awesome biking/running trails. That being said this specific condo has everything you'd need to enjoy it (including 3 adult bikes--no helmets). Our kids (ages 2 and 4) especially loved the grounds to roam around on, the pool, the dock by the lake, and the trees to climb. Inside their favorite was the loft. The kitchen is well enough equipped for cooking **except** spices. If you like to cook, please pack spices/pantry essentials you don't want to have to (re)purchase. I had to dock one star based on the condition of the outdoor space (actually I think it's only worth 1/2 a star, but this only lets me work in whole star increments). Its got a beautiful view, and it's got great bones….that being said the deck it's self needs to be refinished, or better yet refurbished with a bigger patio area. Some of the neighboring condo's have done so, and it looked great (more outdoor seating, a stone patio area in front of the deck, maybe even a fire pit). Oh and the pictures of the pool make it look like there may be a hot tub…if it is, it wasn't turned on, because it was the same temp as the pool (which it's self was a very nice temperature, but a hot tub would've been clutch). Overall we will stay again, and LOVED our time there, at the condo, in the city and of course a couple days at Silverwood. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, although families with somewhat older kids (7+) would probably enjoy the whole experience even more than us (stand up paddle boarding, boating, biking, hiking, Silverwood etc). That being said we're not gonna wait that long for a return visit!"

  • What we were looking for

"Electronic lock, easy to find and well done interior made for a great first impression. The apartment was clean and ready for our use. We did not use any of the kitchen supplies because the apartment was downtown, next to everything. MUCH quieter than I anticipated considering it is downtown. Parking in the small parking lot is the only downside. This would have been very difficult for us had a driven anything larger than my Outback. The parking lot filled up on the workdays (as expected), but made it difficult to leave. Recommend taking a parking spot that allows you to pull forward, out of the lot and not get boxed in. The main bedroom bed was comfortable and linens clean. The second bedroom was appropriate, but not for a couple. The bed is (currently) a sofa hide-away, but worked great for my kids. They had no complaints. The current owner was good to work with. The building is for sale, so hopefully the new owners will continue to take of the apartment."

  • COULDN'T WAIT TO GET BACK!

"We stayed in this home two years ago and couldn't wait to get back! It doesn't fail to impress. It's very comfortable for a few people or a group. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to pull off some terrific meals. The location is great for walking almost everywhere you want to go. The many bicycles made available are a great asset and make getting to the beach, etc. a breeze. Thanks again, Paula, for your attention to detail and always being available if we need anything."
