"With my husband's 70th birthday just before Columbus Day weekend and sons and their families in Portland, OR and Missoula, MT we were looking for a family friendly VRBO--this property was PERFECT. We own a VRBO in Missoula and know what makes tenants happy--we were very happy with this property. The downstairs bedroom with a queen size bed is spacious, had more storage than we needed and had privacy to the downstairs full bath. All the rooms were spacious (except for the upstairs bathroom) and everyone had room to spread out. There are actually four bedrooms including what is described as the "kids' room". The upstairs had three bedrooms and a full bath--tub only, no shower--and an angled ceiling that made it more friendly for kids than adults. One of the queen size bedrooms has a Foosball table and a door that opens into the kids' room. The kids' room has a queen bed and two twins, which would accommodate a family with small children. There is also a very large king size bedroom on the second floor. Grampy and I were downstairs and all the kids and grandkids were upstairs. There is internet access but no cable or satellite TV. We spent one day at the water park (five minutes away at Silver Mountain) and biked the next day on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes. Bikes are no longer provided with the rental and we brought bikes with us. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. There is a washer/dryer in a large laundry room on the first floor. All in all this is a perfect family venue--games, CD's, DVD's and close to Silver Mountain. Highly recommend this VRBO. Look forward to renting again in ski season."

"My wife and I stayed here for three nights to celebrate our eleventh anniversary. The views are gorgeous (inside and outside the condo) and there is so much to do. We rode the gondola to the lodge and then hiked to the top of Kellogg Peak, we rode the Route of the Hiawatha, went for a jog on the path along the river and climbed to Stevens Lakes and Stevens Peak. At night the hot tub was a welcome way to relax and recover from all the exertion of the day and while we didn't use them there was a sauna and steam room also available. Our kids stayed home with friends but the futon would have been perfect to have a couple of them tag along. There is only one washer and dryer in the building so if it is busy you could have to wait awhile before they are available. It was pretty quiet and slow at the end of September so we only saw a few other people in the building during the entire time we were in town. We did most of our own food prep after stocking up a local grocery store plus what the owners left us for breakfast the first day. We did have dinner one night in Wallace at a place called The Fainting Goat which was also wonderful. Thanks so much for an awesome vacation, we both highly recommend this property!"
