"We spent 4 nights here during the summer with an extended family group. The layout of the house made it perfect for us to spend time together, but to have privacy as well. Everything was clean and comfortable but not fussy, so we felt we were able to make ourselves at home. The neighborhood is simply charming, so green and shady and filled with summer color; Front porch sitting was the favorite activity of the grandparents in our group. And the house is a short walk straight down the road to the lake, only a few blocks from a beautiful park (with a playground even the teenagers thought was magical), and an easily manageable distance to the boardwalk and downtown shops. David was friendly and easy to work with and communicated with us promptly.
There is so much to do in the area that we were out and about much of the time, but the house is so cozy I would have liked more time just to sit and read a book! The only mildly uncomfortable thing was that it was an unusually warm week and the house does not have air conditioning. Plenty of fans were provided, however, and by opening windows at night and closing them in the mid-morning we were able to cool it down. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!"

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was spotless.
The property manager was very helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We stayed in the Cabin in the Trees for 4 days, and couldn't be happier. The location is set in the woods on an island, and is absolutely beautiful and feels very private. However, it only takes a few minutes to get to the main highway with easy access to locations throughout the Teton Valley. The cabin is very spacious with a great layout, and is very well maintained. The fireplace, washer/dryer, well equipped kitchen, propane grill, high speed wireless internet, and especially the very large hot tub on the back porch were great perks! The location is ideal for a huge variety of activities, and the cabin itself is a great place to just relax and hang out. We arrived just as the end of the winter season was happening, and there was still plenty of snow to ski and snowmobile, combined with warm and comfortable temperatures which made it easy to play outside all day long. This was our first time visiting Island Park and the Cabin in the Trees, and we are definitely coming back. Rainbow Realty was really easy to work with, very professional, and provided us with great service."

"This was a great condo! great location, comfortable, quiet and well appointed. We loved how cozy it was and the breakfast food and treats were so welcoming. We will be back and hope that it is available for us to rent in the future. We highly recommend this condo for rental!"

Very comfortable lodgings in one of the greatest vacation areas in idaho
"We took advantage of the seasonable late fall to roam the adjacent hills in search of the striking fall colors. We may have been the last vehicles to travel the length of Bear Valley and the Yankee Fork road, we saw no traffic on either and both were lined with brilliant golds and oranges of the turning birch and poplar leaves. The cabin was very well appointed with all the necessary things to make for a pleasant stay. The owner was very gracious in my (limited) contacts with him. Though adjacent to the highway, the traffic noise is not intrusive nor does it seem to affect the local wildlife. While watching the lunar eclipse we saw a fox visit the next cabin when it triggered the motion sensor light the owner had thoughtfully installed to illuminate the front step (if there is no moon out you may have a hard time FINDING the front step without them). The Milky Way shines brightly through the trees, a sight seldom seen by those of us from more urban areas. One key point that differentiates this cabin from most others on VRBO, the owner does his own maintenance and servicing, there is no cleaning fee in addition to the rental costs. This results in a savings of 15-25% over adjacent cabins with absentee owners. This cabin is an excellent value and a comfortable stay that we look forward to using again, soon."
