  • Darryl, Becky & Honey

"We stayed for a month at one of the cabins at Stanley Base Camp in the summer of 2014. It's well-named, for it is centrally located for exploring the area in all directions. It's close to the town of Stanley, Stanley Lake and forest service roads #432 & 633, which offer awesome views. Nearby Valley Creek has some good fly fishing spots. The cabin was super clean and very well-equipped with everything you could need, plus some. It was great to meet Todd, who gave us some advice on things/areas not to miss during our stay. Honey loved sniffing the prairie dog holes. The Sawtooth Mts. are absolutely gorgeous!"

  • Perfect Getaway! Really Romantic!

"This is the 3rd year we have rented Gary & Carol's beautiful home and this year we celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary there! It is a beautifully decorated cabin and very comfortable! We love the fact that we can snowmobile right from the door and then at night we can soak in the hot tub under a sky full of stars! This cabin is on our yearly list to rent!"

  • Excellent Family Vacation

"We recently rented the boat house and had a fabulous family vacation. It had been 3 years since we got to take an entire week off together and we all just woke up everyday and said " We're so glad we're here!" The location of the Boat House is ideal if you enjoy nature. It is set in an inlet with a sandbar just out front that was mostly covered with water during our stay. As the summer heats up, the sandbar is more exposed. We saw turtles everyday, heron, an osprey diving for fish and huge bass swimming almost up onto shore! We brought a canoe but Barb and Marty also have a row boat with an electric motor, a rowing shell and 2 really cool, fun and easy to use kayaks. We took all of them out at least once and had a blast. The house itself is safe for younger kids in terms of the outdoors. On the deck there is an expandable gate that latches across the stairway and kept our agile 22 month old escape artist where we wanted him. Indoors was cozy and comfy with games, books, a TV, and very comfortable beds. We absolutely adored the outdoor shower too! Our only disappointment was that the fairy forest and pingpong pavillion were not up and running yet this year. This was our first excursion to the Boat House so we don't have memories from other years to draw on, but our oldest was looking forward to playing in the treehouse in the fairy forest. We did a little cleaning up of it ourselves and it was moderately usable. Otherwise we had a splendid time and found ourselves wondering if we could do it again next year for 2 weeks!"

  • We would come back!!!!

"Our family of grandparents, kids and their little kids totaling 12 were thrilled with this rental house! The amount of space of the house and yard was perfect for running around. Our first day there it rained but because there was lots of room we didn't get cabin fever. We were glad for the washer and dryer!! The distance to Sandpoint was a bit far, but once there we found the park and beach which were not at all crowded. Pie at Panhandler was a must of course!! We got to see a number of deer run across the yard which was a plus!"
