  • Awesome Weekend Wedding Venue

"Belinda and the No Business Lodge were the perfect venue for our summer wedding. The lodge is a beautiful location. There is a creek that runs behind the lodge that was perfect for float trips. We added on an extra night at the last minute for the boys to have for the bachelor party. We had the whole place for the entire weekend from Thursday to Sunday. It made the whole event an awesome relaxed environment. The scenery was beautiful. I cannot say how amazing Belinda was during the whole thing. I sent her e-mails constantly for almost a year while planning. She always responded within a few days and had ideas for all my questions. When we arrived for the rehearsal dinner she was a life saver. We planned the wedding ourselves, which meant that we hadn't actually really considered how to stage everyone for walking up the aisle for the ceremony and so on. Belinda took control and helped us with all the details. For our wedding day, she recommended that after the ceremony we go inside and spend some alone to soak in the moment. I'm so glad we took her advice. She had the caterer set aside some of the appetizers and champagne. It is one of my favorite memories from the day. Belinda took care of the setup and all the vendors the day of the wedding. She asked me a couple of questions during the rehearsal dinner and then ran the show. It was great, because that way I got to focus on enjoying the day and not on coordinating the event. Like I said, cannot say enough good things about Belinda and the No Business Lodge. We are thinking of going back for anniversary parties in the future."

  • Couldn't have been better!

"This place has it all!!! Lone Elk Lodge has the charm, the view, the space, and the best people to run it. Barb and Steve are they caretakers of the lodge and they are wonderful. They made our stay so comfortable and completely carefree! This house has top of the line...well, everything. Everything from the grand theatre room to the HUGE kitchen for gathering and entertaining was absolutely perfect for our party of 17. Barb and Steve were the perfect hosts as they were accommodating but not so much where they interfered with our privacy. There was an occasion where we ran out of propane for the grill and Steve was there quick, fast, and in a hurry with a replacement and a smile. I was getting married that weekend and my limited budget shot down my plans for a traditional venue reception. I asked Barb if the property was appropriate for a backyard reception and she made it work!!! It was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was user friendly for the caterer, the yard was perfect for our tables and dancing, and the sunset behind the golf course setting allowed for the most amazing pictures. My boyfriend and I visited Jackson Hole (from PA) last October and got engaged in the Tetons. We knew we wanted to be married in the area and have a small wedding with immediate family and close friends. We set our date for June 21st and were blessed to have made our "wedding" a week long celebration. My family stayed in Lone Elk Lodge and my husbands guests also stayed in Victor, Idaho. Our dream wedding of being married in the Tetons would not have been possible if we hadn't stayed in the valley. You get the most for your money, the best people, awesome restaurants, and being out of the immediate tourist town allows for more quality family time. With that being said, anything and everything worth seeing/doing is only a short drive. You WILL NOT be disappointed if you stay at The Lone Elk Lodge! Happy Traveling :)"

  • 3rd year visiting this wonderful property!

"This is our 3rd year visiting this property. Our family has travelled along with 3 other families all the way from Alberta with our boat for 3 years running and we plan on coming back again next year. This spacious house allows for our 4 families (16 people) to sleep comfortably, with ample bathrooms to accommodate our group. We bring our boat which is always able to be safely docked right in front of the property attached to the dock that is always out waiting for us. The house is always clean when we arrive. The yard is well maintained with a firepit that we use every night. The lake is amazing! It is warm and clean and there is never too much boat traffic. We also take down a paddle board, floating island and floating trampoline to anchor in the water for the week. It is always a great time and I would recommend it to anyone."

  • Just perfect.

"We had so much fun at the little lake cottage. It was clean and inviting from the minute we pulled up. The cottage was fully stocked with clean towels, kitchen supplies, etc. It was lovely!"
