  • Elkhorn - Ridge Condo

"We had a wonderful time at this condo. It was the perfect destination for our Christmas holiday in Sun Valley. The condo is nicely furnished with kitchen, dining and living area upstairs and two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor. The owner, Corine, was super responsive to any questions we had prior to our trip -as well as one that came up during our stay. We would definitely enjoy staying here again! Thank you Corine!"

  • Perfect annual family escape.

"For the past two summers this lodge has been the perfect escape for our family. My husband and I have been fishing the South Fork for over 20 years and as our family grew we began looking for a place that would accommodate all our needs, and this is it. It has a beautiful combination of luxury and comfort yet rustic enough to not let you forget where you are. The location is ideal for enjoying all the wildlife, sweeping sunsets, and the storms that roll in and out. There is plenty of space for my kids to run and play and they've even hooked a few fish from the bank. When we do finally pull ourselves away from the lodge there is plenty to do near by. Besides drifting down the Snake River, we've enjoyed horseback ridding, ziplining and day excursions into Jackson Hole and Driggs. We greatly appreciate Marc opening up his lodge to our family and being so attentive and accessible whenever needed."

  • Could not get much better!!

"Very clean, well maintained studio! Kitchen comes stocked with every tool one would need to cook, even some spices. All you need is the food. A great way to stay in Coeur d'Alene. Walking, bike riding...everything within easy reach. So nice to come "home" to a quiet well appointed place. Definitely would recommend anyone going Coeur d'Alene to stay here."

  • Incredible Home, Perfect Location, and Outstanding Owners

"Our stay at this rental couldn't have worked out better. We were in town for a wedding with a large extended family. The home was perfect for four adults and three children. It was so nicely done as a rental. We had everything we needed - towels, kitchen tools, grill, etc. There was plenty of room for dinners outside, comfortable beds, and a sweet little cozy family area. The rental was in a great location to everything downtown. The owners were exceptional in communication and extremely accommodating. We would recommend this a million times over to anyone looking for a rental in Boise, ID."

Idaho Travel Tips

Season to Visit Idaho Vacation Rentals

Idaho’s climate varies in accordance with its terrain and is therefore quite different in different parts of the state. The southern low lying regions enjoy warm summers with hot days and balmy nights. Most rainfall occurs during the summer season in this area and rain showers are generally quite short-lived. For many of the lake areas in the south, summer is the preferred time of year to book one of our Idaho rentals. The warm days allow the kids to enjoy playing in the lake waters and enjoying a wide variety of water sport activities. The mountain areas, full of great Idaho cabin rentals, are much cooler and receive heavy snowfall between December and March each year. This provides ideal snow skiing conditions for the many ski resorts.

Activities at Idaho Cabin Rentals

Idaho is home to many scenic lakes. Within easy driving distance, there are at least six lakes which are all great vacation destinations. Facilities vary depending on the recreational classifications of the lakes but all offer great fishing opportunities. Most allow recreational boating including power boating and are ideal destinations for waterskiing, wake boarding and leisurely sunset cruises. Many cabins for rent in Idaho are located on the lakeshore, providing easy access to the water. Many have private docks where you can tie your boat up for the duration of your stay. For families, you can enjoy long summer days enjoying a wide variety of water sports. In the afternoon, you can go into town to buy ice cream and get some bait for an early morning fishing excursion the next day. The lakes are great for paddling and many marinas have kayaks available to hire. In the winter months, one of the most popular activities is snowmobiling. There are also many groomed trails for cross country skiing. In the mountain areas, there are a number of high-class ski resorts, particularly in the area of Sun Valley, where you can easily find great ski cabin rentals in Idaho.

Visitors to Idaho Vacation Rentals

Idaho is probably one of the lesser known vacation destinations. Most people think of it as the potato state and are unaware of the beautiful mountain ranges and lakes that make it an ideal vacation destination. It is a relatively affordable destination where vacation rentals in Idaho are large and spacious. This makes it an ideal destination for a family vacation. People who will enjoy Idaho are those who appreciate nature, beautiful scenery and the outdoors. There are many activities available in both summer and winter. It is a destination where you can relax, take a break from busy city life, and enjoy some quality time with your friends and family. The many lakes attract fishing enthusiasts from both near and far. Many of the communities hold annual fishing fests which are great events to attend.

Traveling to Idaho

The main access point to Idaho is in the Capital City of Boise which is located in the far southwestern corner of the state. To get to the northern parts of Idaho, the closest airport is Spokane International Airport which is located in the neighboring state of Washington. Both these airports host regularly scheduled flights from most major cities in North America. There is quite an extensive and well-maintained road network in Idaho and the best way to get to your vacation destination is usually by car. Rental agencies are located at the airports and it is advisable to make reservations in advance, especially over weekends and peak holiday periods. There are two transcontinental railroads that pass through Idaho. If you want to be able to enjoy the scenery, this is a great way to travel. Check up on the routing to see if the trains stop near your vacation destination.
