  • Perfection!!!

"We spent a week here while our daughter attended a camp in Cape Girardeau Mo. We had a great time fishing and exploring. This cabin is the cleanest we have experienced using vrbo. Ken answered all emails and calls promptly. We wish we could have stayed another week, but the cabin was booked. We will be back and would highly recommend Ken and his cabins. This is by far the best value on vrbo."

  • Cozy Apartment, Fantastic Location, Riot Fest Weekend

"You always wish you can find owners like Marta and Jason. Their cozy apartment was perfect for my group of 4 that was in town for Riot Fest. The apartment is clean and stocked with just about anything you would expect to find in your own place. They even provide some breakfast foods to get your visit started. We actually arrived with a small cold front, but the apartment easily keeps you warm at night. The shower was always hot, the WiFi was always strong, and the owners were always friendly. Marta and Jason live on the property and made themselves available for any questions and requests. I've been to Chicago quite a few times, and this is by far, the best neighborhood I've stayed in. We always felt safe and everything is only a few minutes away. We ventured without a car, which was fine, because you have a Blue line stop 5 minutes away, and multiple, convenient buses nearby. Our group really took advantage of the great eats in the surrounding area of Wicker Park. Some recommendations nearby: Las Palmas (Mexican), Max's Wine Dive (American), and of course, our daily stop at Stan's Donuts & Coffee (Amazing). The 72 bus got us to and from Riot Fest at Humboldt Park everyday and night from the festival. If for some reason, you're to lazy at night to use a CTA option, there always seems to be multiple Uber drivers in the area. Chicago is a fantastic city. But when you're staying in a great little place like this, in a location you can't beat, the experience is only enhanced that much more. Without hesitation, I would stay here again."

  • Reasonably priced, perfect locale

"Stayed here with two grad school girlfriends. It's small, but the price is right. Lots to do within walking distance. Easy parking. 5 minute walk to subway. Quiet. It was clean. A deep cleaning should be done but we were not disappointed. We had a slight plumbing problem, and it was taken care of with no fuss. Would recommend to friends!"

  • Perfect for a weekend getaway or longer!

"I booked this unit for a 30th birthday weekend getaway. We had (7) people total - (3) couples and (1) additional person. This unit was perfect for us! - Location: This unit is walking distance to Wrigley Field and Wrigleyville which has great restaurants and bars. Around the corner is a bunch of great restaurants, and one block away is the Belmont CTA stop which will get you on the Red Line and is a straight shot into downtown if you need to get there. It's a quiet neighborhood but around the corner is great nightlife if that's what you're looking for. - Accommodations: There were (3) bedrooms - each one had a comfortable full size bed with a closet. There was a living area with a couch (not a sleeper sofa), a dining table with (6) chairs and a full kitchen fully stocked with plates, cups, silverware, and basic cooking utencils. (2) full bathrooms, plenty of towels, and a hair dryer! Iron and ironing board were there as well. If you need the sleeper sofa, I would just make sure to clarify that when making your reservation. There are two units in the same building, so maybe the other one has the sleeper sofa? - Parking: Parking is free on the street and there are residential parking passes provided with the unit (required for street parking). The only downside is that parking may be hard to find - one person drove around for 45 minutes looking for parking. It should be noted that we had (3) cars with our group and we stayed over a very busy weekend (St. Patrick's Day + NCAA BBall Tournament). - Customer Service: Dan was great to work with! He responded to my emails within 1 - 2 business days and most of the time it was within 24 hours. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a "home away from home" while in Chicago!"
