  • 1st VRBO experience

"I came to Chicago to attend my nephews birthday. I wanted a nice quiet place to stay at a affordable price. I hit the jackpot on both accounts. The studio was in a quiet neighborhood. The price was very affordable. The property was very clean, well stocked with pillows towels and blankets. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities. You need to bring your food and beverage preferences. The internet access was good. The TV channels were limited. Bed was comfortable. I would recommend this property wholeheartedly."

  • Perfect accommodations

"This house was perfect for our needs. There were 9 people (3 kids and 6 adults) in our college reunion group and we had plenty of space to spread out. Loved the open concept of the kitchen and dining room. Allowed for wonderful opportunity to converse. Property owner, Yehuda, was a pleasure to work with. Excellent communication and accommodating. Highly recommend."

  • Bob & Ann

"We had a wonderful stay here. The studio was practically new, immaculately clean, nicely furnished, and very quiet considering this is a densely populated area. The carriage house, with 2 studios, is charming, and there is a small courtyard between the carriage house and the main house, often populated by a friendly kitty. I think the owners have gone to pains to think of just about everything a guest would need. Internet speed is slow, but, heck, they give you a laptop! Who could complain, really? Lots of nice restaurants along Bryn Mawr and Clark and some of the side streets. We enjoyed several really nice antique/flea market shops in the area as well. We always felt safe. Public transportation via, mostly, the Red Line El, is quite good. We've been to Chicago a number of times and have stayed in nice (not too upscale) hotels along the Mag Mile. This charming place will give a great experience for, say $50 less per night than a very ordinary room downtown. A great buy, I think."

  • Clean, comfortable and close to it all!

"My husband and I treated ourselves and our youngest son and his fiancee to a long weekend in Chicago. We couldn't have chosen a lovelier location! The apartment was spacious, clean and close to public transportation. It was so nice to have covered parking, also. We enjoyed delicious coffee and Swedish pastries for breakfast (from the Swedish Bakery - you have to go!) each morning in the kitchen and sunroom. The walk to the train stop was nice - so many beautiful homes to see along the way. And, we just loved the Andersonville shops! Don't miss the Swedish Museum! This location was a perfect base for exploring the city and surrounding neighborhoods. Paul was very helpful in answering our questions and is an owner that takes pride in his apartment. We definitely plan to return on our next long weekend in Chicago."
